We don't have that much info really. Ones we do know for certain:

Terra - several Imperial Army regiments defending the spaceports turned on their bretheren when the initial traitor landings began.

Colchis - We can be essentially certain that the planet of Colchis, based as it was around the religion led by Lorgar, would have fallen into worship of the Chaos Gods along with Lorgar himself. Any worlds that were conquered solely by the Word Bearers also fell - we know that after falling to Chaos they secretly corrupted the planets they had conquered. So worlds such as Fortrea Quintus (mentioned in Index Astartes) and other sectors conquered by the WB would have joined the traitors as well.

Davin - We know that Davin fell into Chaos worship before the Heresy began, and thus troops from the planet would have gladly joined Horus' rebellion.

Mars - Over half of the Mechanicus and their troops turned to Chaos.

Eskrador - According to the Alpha Legion IA, the natives of Eskrador launched attacks on the Ultramarines. Whether the planet as a whole turned, or this was merely isolated groups bribed/coerced by the AL, we don't know.

Prospero - Prospero's pdf and Army forces fought against the Space Wolves when they launched their attack. Its doubtful they ever made it off the planet though - the TS are unlikely to have taken them with them when they made their mystical escape.

Olympia - Olympia rebelled before the Heresy, and after the Iron Warriors turned they built up a small empire on the surrounding planets. Any troops raised by the IW on these worlds would have fought the Imperium, although more out of fear of their cruel masters than any genuine conviction.

Istvaan - Istvaan III turned traitor before the Heresy broke out (although its poulation was wiped out due to the Virus bombing) and given the massive traitor presence in the system folowing the battele on Istvaan III (and the fact Horus made his initial base on Istvaan V) the rest of the system was almost certainly corrupted/coerced into joining the rebellion as well.

Anvilus 9 - The Forgeworld dedicated to the production of Land Raiders joined the traitors (hence the decree limiting them to the Legions) so their tech-guard regiments would have joined the rebellion.

Tsagulsa - Taken as a base by the Night Lords during the Heresy and Great Scouring.

Those are the ones I can think of offhand. Cetainly we know that numerous other planets and sectors joined Horus when he rebelled - any battles that took place during the Great Scouring after the Heresy were aimed at reclaiming worlds that had turned traitor, so any canon conflicts from this era would have been on worlds that rebelled. The Heresy series will probably shed more light on Traitor worlds as well in later books.

Quite a comprehensive list Sorceror.

As for equipment and such, anything you want should make sense. In those days the Imperial Army was even less organized and centralized than the Guard is in modern 40k. So really you can choose 1 of thousands of regiments and armies to get whatever kind of theme you want.

A few more:

Rostern I - The Ultramarines first developed the Vindicator to fight in built up areas during the pacification of Rostern early in the Heresy, so it was clearly one of the planets that rebelled.

Sebastius IV - Part of the Iron Warriors empire, and the location of the 'Iron Cage' battle with the Imperial Fists.

Dulan - This is a possible rather than a definite. It was the planet where the rivalry between the Space Wolves and the Dark Angels began, as the Lion attacked an enemy stronghold before the Space Wolves thus denying Russ the chance to kill the enemy leader (who had insulted Russ). Not sure weather this was early heresy or before the Heresy broke out, however.

In Tales Of Heresy: Blood Game it has the Imperial Army forces deployed in the Butan Group rumoured to have sided with Horus.

And the forces on Isstvaan V had a large Imperial Army contingent fighting for the Warmaster.

I believe Dulan was pre-heresy as the Luna Wolves IA mentions that Horus was aware of the rivalry between the two legions.

thanks guys, basically I wanted to know if there was any before I went ahead getting parts for a mini im doing, im fairly tempted to do a tech guard though, they sound realy cool, any idea on what they would look like?

Tech Guard?

The Mechanicus that joined Horus, known as the 'Dark Mechanicus', wore black, in contrast to their loyal equivalents who usually wear red. The mechanicus symbol and cog designs on the trim of their robes are common.

There are several different troop types that would be common in tech guard armies. There are the basic tech-guard themselves (generally known as skitarii) who tend to be better equipped/armoured than their Imperial Army equivalents, and often make extensive use of bionics. Acording to Mechanicum and Titanicus, they often are deliberately given a frightening appearence, for example ferocious masks and so on, in order to make them more intimidating. Then there are the Praetorians, heavily augmented and armed elite troops, often tracked, or multi-limbed, and wielding a variety of heavy weaponry. I can see the Dark Mechanicus in particular making use of robots, in some cases with genuine AI (see the Kaban Project short story) seeing as even before the Heresy broke out such technology was skirting dangerously close to tech-heresy and thus would have been favoured by the more rebellious tech-priests who would have joined Horus.

@Gagoc - a good point about the Imperial Army on Istvaan. One can assume that any Imperial Army regiments from Horus' Crusade fleet mentioned in the first three novels of the Heresy series would have followed Horus during the Heresy. I can't think of any named regiments off-hand, but there probably are some mentioned.

@Fingol - Nice catch on the existance of the rivalry pre-heresy. Guess we can scratch Dulan as a possibility then.

I picked a regiment from Volscani as Traitors. (See my blog) This came from a snippet of Information from the old Eye of Terror Codex. It states that a Volscani regiment opened fire on allied Cadians during defence of a space port. Although this was set later than the Heresy I thought it would be nice to have a heretical regiment from the same world, maybe reflecting that the majority of the Volscani had stayed loyal but there remained a bad seed on the planet.

The Eye of Terror Codex also lists significant Traitor Guard units from Abbadon's Black Crusade although no telling if they were around at the time of the Heresy or not. Will update this thread when I have the Codex to hand.

I doubt any 'current' traitor regiments would have been around at the time of the Heresy - once Horus was killed the Traitor Legions on Terra abandoned the other traitors when they fled, and the Scouring following the siege of Terra was dedicated to reclaiming all the worlds that had rebelled and wiping out any traitors. Any traitor army regiments would have been killed long before reaching the Eye - their superhuman masters cared little for them once the rebellion had failed and abandoned them to their fate.
