Hello peeps.
I've been meaning to do this tutorial for quite some time ago but I just recently actually got round to it.
Enough blabbering, here's how it's done.
Here we have a basecoated model.

I paint the model with flat colours.

Apply a wash and badabing! it turns into another model! Just kidding, I changed the model to make this faster. This guy has gotten two succesful washes of Gryphonne Sepia and some Devlan mud for the darkest crevices.

Okay, this is what we are going to need next. Dheneb Stone, Skull White and some Vallejo matte medium(?) for the glaze.

Mix these accordingly:
2/5 Dheneb stone
2/5 matte medium
1/5 water
...or until you get something with the consistency of milk, like so.

Apply the mixture in the wanted place. I'm going for a bit of a zenithal lighting here so I put it on the highest points of the armor.

Next, use a wet, clean brush to smoothen the mixture down accordingly to create a colorslide.

Here I've applied the same thing to the whole model.

After that dries, make another pass.

After this is dry, throw some white in the mix and apply it the same way but only on the highest points.

That's about it. Then just add the details etc. I went over the clothing, leather and metals with the base colour and added a camo pattern for the clothing.

Easy as pie I'd say. :)
The more you do this, the easier and faster it becomes.
