Lord Commander Eleaxus
A brilliant duelist, strategically and tactically skilled. Others have noted an obsession with victory and an unwillingness to admit defeat, which has only increased following his victory at the 'invincible' fortress of Megiddo. His rapid rise through the ranks has also worried some, and it is rumoured that his pride and vanity are consuming him.

Brother-Sergeant Jhasius, Equerry to Eleaxus
Equerry to Eleaxus and his battle-standard bearer, Jhasius is quite ambitious and will stop at nothing for a promotion. Some of the forces attached to the 36th Grand Company are concerned by this, but Jhasius is not concerned by such things, and looks forward to becoming Eleaxus' successor.

Assault Sergeant Tarvitz
A veteran of Unification, Tarvitz is an old soldier whose fought in thousands of campaigns. He has not been promoted recently, as Eleaxus has favoured people he finds more trustworthy than Tarvitz. Tarvitz thus plans to show his valour and courage, hoping this will find Eleaxus' favour and gain him a promotion.

Brother-Sergeant Eidolios
Eidolios is a quite vain character, believing that his way of fighting is perfect and supreme. He dislikes Eleaxus with a passion, and feels that Tarvitz is untrustworthy, a sentiment with which Eleaxus seems to agree. Eidolios, anyway, is anxious for promotion, and has been acting with more bravado as of late.

Venerable Brother Romulus
Venerable Brother Romulus is an ancient veteran of Unification, almost losing his life in the Quintax Usurpation, after the experimental plasma weaponry he was firing detonated in his hands. After that, he was placed in a Dreadnought shell, and has been fighting with his men ever since, refusing all sleep or rest, which has been causing his erratic behaviour.
