Hello!
As I said in my welcome note, I already had a couple of half arsed PH attempts at Dark Angels, including Cypher. After reading Fallen Angels and signing up here, I've got stoked on producing some more with a bit more dedication.
These are a few of the ones I did before (not happy with the paintjobs at all) including some more pictures of the fellblade.
Cypher. I plan to repaint him, especially following more descriptive sections from fallen angels. Mostly markings, including his surplices trim indicating how far he has progressed through the higher mysteries. The sword was cut from the dark angels upgrade sprue and the hilt greenstuffed backtogether. It hangs from a rope greenstuffed around his existing surplice's rope and also holds a DA pouch/emblem at the back.
Rhino for a combat squad - Inherited from Whitehorn this former whirlwind chassis was my first stab into PH. Happy overall with a simple scheme, but I was to cover the front which was badly damaged with superglue. Thinking of adding a larger dozer blade, more than likley the imperial guard acessory sprue one - poss some kind of mural on the front, maybe the lion slaying the calibanite lion or something similar.
Just love this sergeant model. Old school mohawk and everything, just deserved black armour.
Fellbade I am quite please with. Created actually for 40k apocalypse, I treated it as a hangover from the crusade - so big they decided not to repaint it? So much that the tank commander on the top hatch is actually in green armour (boo hiss?) But I think I'll repaint him and dedicate it to its new role.
Dozer blade is made of the side armour plates, a rhino hatch, lascannon sponson covers, baneblade cannon muzzles, thunderbolt landing gear, typhoon missle launchers, an autocannon and a dark angels emblem from the upgrade pack.
I lengthened the barrel adding the hellhammer muzzle. Makes it look more...astartes, I think. A dreadnaught greave was added to the barrel too, purity seals throughout.

Plans for the future?
I'd like to get a squad of ten of something done, and maybe a dreadnaught (titus?)
but my overall project at the minute is Luther. Somewhat like his character he seems to be overshadowed with modellers by his famous protege the Lion, so I decided to tackle him. Helpfully, the opening passage of FA has quite a detailed description of Luther, of his armour, his weapons and colouring. Excellent.
Ideas: Either building him mid heresy and crusade, or pre Imperium. Pre Imperium I have more ideas for. Based on this model:

lopping the head and the hammers off, sculpting on more plate armour but leaving the surplice alone. Adding a sword to his right hand and a pistol to his left (bolt or repeater pistol ala descent?) and of course, a winged helm similar to the medievil look from collected visions.

Overall, I'm keen to show he is not a marine - he will be much smaller in stature and his power armour much more scaled down. I think the inquisitors are a good guide for that.
