Huhu Peeps!

Sorry for being away for so long! Been crazy busy as of late, but I have returned with pictures!

The Dutch GT is coming up at the end of October and I'm taking my Luna Wolves with me this year (again). I'm still tweaking with my list a bit, but I'm DEFINATELY going to take my Reaver Squad with me! So say hello to Squad Khaggort!
They are still a WIP so be gentle ;)

Things still on my list for this Squad:
* Some highlights and shading
* Fill & clean up missing iconography on shoulderpads (Assault Symbol & Luna Wolves symbol)
* Clean up bases a bit
* Add red text on all the shoulderpad edges (most left model, first picture)

Hope you like 'em :D Any C&C is alway greatly appreciated!

Huhu Maart! They are looking rather cool :)

I won't get too into fluff, but weren't Reavers black? Or was that just the 1st chapter of the Luna's?

I don't care anyway, they just look like a very cool Luna Wolf unit, so there! :P

Cheers B)

Huhu,

Thnx Iacton! :D

Well... if I'm not mistaken the First company Terminators were black... not sure about the rest of First company

I know of 4 Reaver Squads:

Khaggort Reaver Squad
Durkall Reaver Squad
Khabant Reaver Squad

&

Catulan Reaver Squad with Kalus Ekaddon as Captain

Catulan is in first company, so they COULD be black, not sure if that also goes for the Reaver squads. (if anyone knows.... please illuminate me :P)
Catulan is on my wish-list of squads to make though, and put them in my army with Vanguard Vet. rules :D

Thnx for the reply though! :D I'll post more pics as I make my way towards the end of October

Catulan Reaver Squad wore black armour, but I think Reaver was what they called Assault Squads in the LW/SoH.

I like their shade of grey SQ.

Lovely white you have made there, and the symbol on the shoulder looks great!

I also like the small details in other colours (like the sergeants power fist) helps break up some of the white. Great stuff!

Hopefully when you have made up an army list post it in that section! :)

Very nice and crispy clean!
Really like all the freehands and detail you've given the models, gives so much more character. Also, I want those jump packs! :D

Huhu,

Thnx for the replies peeps! :D
The red bits can be found throughout my entire army, I want to break the sea of white with it a bit, and it ties the army together quite nicely.

Actually these models are made with quite some support from this community ;)
The Jumppacks come from Shroud! I stole Iacton's awesome recipe for skintones and applied it on all those bare heads in this squad ;) And then there's the recipe for the gold, which kinda comes from a certain someone who has an Emperor's Children army in the display case now ;)

So couldn't have done it without you all! :D

Nom nom nom... delicious PH goodness! :D

Are you sticking with 8 for the squad? No plasma pistols/flamers?

SQ - August 21, 2009 12:22 PM (GMT)
Huhu Shroud,

Nah, I got 2 more Marines waiting to get painted, 1 with a flamer and 1 with a plasma pistol. Plus I got some Jetpacks left, so I can do different setups with sergeants aswell! :D

However I think for the GT I'll just use this setup:
Sergeant with a fist and Meltaboom + 7 marines

I'm still toying with the idea of adding a flamer though, not 100% sure yet

Flamers vs Imperial Guard = win. I've taken out a whole squad of Veterans in one turn using only two flamers... ;)
