Amongst the other projects.....
I finally could get my hands on this figure (which is IMHO much better the Ronin's) and started to paint it:
And the prototype of the trooper (I just can't leave him alone he NEEDS an Army :rolleyes: )

while i have to disagree with you on which (non)horus model looks best (especially the head on the Ronin one is a lot better IMO) you're doing the model justice!
it's your tactical marine however that made my mouth fall open. I fully agree that he needs an army, keep up the good work! and one question: how did you make the helmet (tut, tut).

That is one of the heads from the Iron Warrior upgrade.
I am loving that shade of green for the SoH if I did'nt already have a good start on my army that mini would seriously have reconsider my paint sceme.
IMO the very best Horus can be scratch built using the new Chaos Termie Lord and the mace from the Dark angel upgrade.
I sold my Ronin one after I made one.

It's Vallejo's German uniform 70920
and the head is indeed an iron warrior head without the horns.

The Horus is cool. I prefer the pose on him to the other one, but the claw is slightly unwieldy on this model. I might have to look at a little mix up of the 2 at some point ;)

I used the spikes of the Orcs shoulder pads ( from Battle ).
