that dwarf looks pretty sweet not so sure of the chaos icon though  looks a little 'amature' if u know what i mean (dont want to sound insulting!) ;)

That is nothing my friend was dumb enough to let a newb tatooist do a huge Portrait of his Daughter on his right Bicep.
When it was done it looked more like his Grandma
Now it is a Teeki Mask that you can still see the Granma through

If you are going to get imagery from a game as a tattoo, just consider if it will still be cool after twenty years. ;)
Hero of Istvaan - September 9, 2009 04:25 PM (GMT)
its not a case of bein 'cool' or not i want it so as wen im old and grey it can serve as a reminder of the time in my life that was 40k and all the fun memorys i have from playing :D
BigWill - September 9, 2009 04:31 PM (GMT)
There is still a metric ton of art material in 40k that will still look cool 30 years up the road. ;)

That's the one thing that's put me off getting a tatoo before now, the whole 'What will this look like when I'm old.'
That and I imagine its frowned upon for teachers to have tatoos covering their arms from shoulder to wrist. :D

same view is taken on squaddies v-byrd

a friend of mine has a blck legion symbol on each forearm

I'd say bad idea, but I guess it comes down to what kind of person you are really!
A friend of mine got a massive tattoo of Pinhead on his back on his 18th birthday - hes had the mick taken out of him ever since, but even now more than 10 years later he still thinks it was a good idea <_<
Another mate of mine got an eagle printed on the bottom of his stomach when he was travelling Thailand and his weight had dropped to 8 and a half stone. Only problem is now hes put on about 3 stone and it looks more like a chicken :D

I nearly got my first band's logo tattooed... but that's because it was just my handprint! :D
Lonewolf - September 9, 2009 07:30 PM (GMT)
well at the minute i dont have any 40k tattoos but do have 12 other, none of which i regret.
but i am planning on getting something 40k related for my next tattoo (well 2 actually because i have to be symetrical)
i want a khorne icon on the underside of one forearm (to fill a gap) and the worldeater icon on the other arm.
Kharn - September 9, 2009 10:29 PM (GMT)
Get a Squat tat on your arm
That'll never go outta style... :P
