Just looking through the Warmaster book thingy from the tempestus fugitives site, and found the entry for the Dark Altar.

now i had an idea to convert a land raider into something simmilar but obviously that wouldntfit in with the stats, and was wondering how i should model this... mainly would it be tracked?? how big should it be???

buy a skip and put baneblade tracks on it, then paint hello kitty on the front, or a chaos star if your not feeling adventurous... :D

I'd say you want to go with (wait for it!) a great big stone altar being held off the ground by a legion of slaves, inscribed with the dark symbols of Chaos.

Failing that, a couple of Ogryns or something? LOTR Trolls?

I have had a few ideas, involving a Dark Elf couldron of blood, skaven screaming bell, vampire corpsecart and a landraider, with some spawn, daemons and cultists in there somewhere... ill try and knock up a few sketches later, and i might try to fit in a hello kitty symbol somewhere, mayby, just for you iacton B)

I remember someone on B&C making an awesome altar counts-as defiler that was a chaos star on legs with cultists and sacrifices on top.

what about basing it on a cauldron of blood or a tower of skulls?

the ruined temple kit is quite nice to use?
