Thought your sisters of silence army was pretty much the most characterful army there at AoTE, hope you can come up with something similar for these guys!

Woo, my base model for sanguinius arrived today so I got right to it, quick headswap and he looks better already!







both body and head are reaper minis, the body is the crusader solo Guardian Angel and the head is from some little woman with a flute that I've had for ages lol. He's still a very early WIP but any comments are appreciated.

There is this other angel that is spot on Sangy called the Avatar of Aurelius,
You might might want to check him out he's by reaper as well. :)

I've got both of those Reaper minis, and the Avatar of Aurelius is perfect for Sanguinius - he's even got blood drops on his armour and a lion hide over his shoulder!! :lol:

Yeah I thought about the avatar, but everyone uses that so I fancied doing it different to everyone else, to me the avatar would have been the easy option. I plan on modelling a pile of traitor corpses on his base and I think the pose on this guy will fit better too.

Raaaawr, time for an update, things haven't prgressed much as its all a little hectic here as I am moving out of my parents house next week, however, work hasn't come to a complete halt.

First up, Land Raider...oh my god what a pain of a kit to put together, the front door was annoying me so much I glued it shut in the end. It looks good but the resin parts just dnt quite fit right, I will be getting a few more in the future though, just have to grit my teeth and remember how god they look finished.





Next is my Ironclad Dreadnaught, its still a WIP, bits of filling to do and what not to remove all the Red Scorpion bits, I couldnt find a way to fit the frag launchers on so if anyone asks I will say they are cunningly wrought into the arches on the chest. I wanted to make him look a bit more dynamic so I added a rather unfortunate berzerker.

Im hoping to get Sanguinius finished soon, still fighting with what I want to do with his sword, I've started a few ideas that I like but none of them seem quite epic enough at the moment. It'll be nice to have another Primarch, Perturabo is getting lonely on his own.
