I did indeed place Bronze with the squad, plus finalist pins for my other 2 entries - the Burger King (who shone like a show pony all day! :D ) and the Khorne Berserker (who sat front and centre of the second shelf just under the winners)

sorry to Nedlol for being sooooooo random, due largely to my hangover from the Saturday night meet up. Don't know if you realised in the bar, but we were chatting with Adrian "Vincenti" Bay, Rob "Demonherald" Cardiss and the guy that I got you talking to about Ork legs was 1998 Slayer Sword winner and all round Ork-alikey Nigel "Talonicus" Carman!! haha!

Don't worry about the randomness, hangovers + hallf full of overweight people sweating because of dodgy aircon are enough to make anyone feel a bit :S, and yeah you pointed them all out to me when I was there :P

I'm actually sat at my desk now playing with the renegades I picked up. after a dodgy cast on the commander I've had to remove the chainsword that he has grafted onto him :(

We did indeed sit around drinking over priced fizzy pop and eating something horrendous last year. This year I spent a lot of time in the hotel bar next door, for most of the weekend in fact!! :lol:

Sorry if I did miss people - Itkovian in particular :( - Time did rather run away with itself, and I was with my friend from Italy, so I tended to make sure that he was OK 1st and foremost...

Was a top weekend, but I'm paying for the last few months now....

We'll have to make a point of the meet up next opportunity. I'm staying out of comps and meets this side of the Zombie's Birthday. I'm concentrating on getting Kabuki Models up and running and preparing stuff for Salute next April.

I was thinking of going to solute next year,but its at the other end of the country, is it worth the travel? :huh:

Wow, some Iron Hands won. Were they more impressive in real life though? The picture doesn't seem to flatter them much...

The skin on those ratlings was very well done though.

The best for mini shopping of all of the conventions ;)
