I have this post up to log the progress for my Black Legion Terminators.
I am tring to make evil twins for every man in Space Hulk down to the wargear.

Until I hear for sure I have to assume he surived the Heresy.
Here he is in all his terrible glory Falkus Kibre the Widowmaker.
He wears an old banner as a cloak and has a World Eater chainglaive giving to him by Angron himself.
He will be the twin to Lorenzo

While I was painting Falkus I finally painted up the 40k version of Abaddon.



I also have make up a Chaos Spawn




And last but not least the Heavy Flamer twin to Brother Zael.
I call him Zarragoddon

Wish mine looked that good.... *looks at the dusty mini's on the shelf*..

I found this great way to paint them on the blogs.
Instead of Black use Charadon Granite and once dry go over it with a Badab Black wash.
Then highlight with Charadon Granite add bleached bone for even brighter highlights
It gives it a great aged look.

The gold is 50/50 Scorched Brown/Shining Gold base
Then I go over the gold with just Shining Gold.
Then I use many layers of washes(sepia,purple,brown maybe a thinned green)

Lady Chaos, all you need to do with yours is hit the metallics with either Devlin Mud or Badab Black wash.
The new washes make a world of difference to metallics

They look nice; the granite works well for a base colour.

The headgear looks like the kind worn on the cover of Horus Rising.

Some of your Other stuff i didn't care for. But these I really enjoy. Alot of your works come alot alot way and it outstqanding stuff. Keep them comeing. I may have to bug you later to get some of the color break downs.

You'd be surprised how easy it is to do.
Charadon Granite,Shining Gold,Chainmail basecoat (Good solid covereage essential)
then it is all washes
Badab Black for anything painted Granite or chainmail
Gryphonne Sepia for any gold

Sergeant Gideon becomes Gorradon
I used a Chaos fantasy warrior shield for a chaos Stormshield

He is the bane of Brother Leon,
he is the vile Laranus one of the Last of the Original Justaerin.
I was able to pull off a nice Legion number under his badge.
I just have to do the chainfist guy and 5 with Stormbolters

I think Laranus is my favourite of these guys so far. :D

haha great idea and great execution. i love Gorradon best so far.

please do include some sort of genestealer ripped-off-corps-thingy when you come around to doing goriels evil twin...

hope this inspires someone to do the same with the new wolfguard terminators (and deathwing, and ultramarines and...).

oh and one last remark on the spawn, those veins look really good!

it inspired me i went Wolfguard. The first 5 Space Wolf Termi Puppy Box i received was made into Spacehulk boarding Wolves...


I also received some good Enigma (the old Company with GW Rippoffs which is no more) Terminators and combined them with the rest of the Space Wolf Terminator parts and received some whicked looking specialists...even three ob them in the oldest Terminator armor you could find...(psst speaking of oildrumm shoulderguards *ggg*)...

I like Big Wills Chaos Brothers i think this will work also with any other combinations...carry on cant wait to see the other specialists...will you make a Sorceror instead of Mephiston ?

Would be nice to see some Imperial Fists with Lysander leading...that Fist Hammer need some fresh Genestealer pulp...

Looking nice, Will. I think that it would be useful to wash the granite down with a dark blue - maybe black and blue wash together - It will make the "black" nice and cool, and then some really thinned SW grey can help with any highlights ;)

Ah yes! I knew it wasn't the Khorne Berserker one, as it doesn't have bunny ears.

I think these are some of the best models you've done man, I will be keeping an eye out ;)

I changed the head on the sorcerer to a WFB warrior head.
I gotta admit 1000 times better
