We haven't been told that they specifically weren't, so I would tend to go with the 'innocent till proven guilty' option and say yes.
Tempus Fugitives had the Adeptus Custodes terminators armed with them..

Considering that infantry carry them in the real world now.
I'd say yes.
If anything I'd say they'd be more advanced than what we have in use today.
