***Official Report back to Commander Horus by Captain Yvraith Syrakul 9th Coy Luna Wolves****
M'lord, A speartip led by Captain Lukan Damaedon of the Luna Wolves and Captain Augustus Aquilla of the Emperor's Children, encountered an unknown force on the Western Edge of the area of space known as the Ghoul Stars. Early reports back indicate signs of AI activity. No contact has been heard from either Captain for more than 3 Terran days. I intend to investigate with all of the forces available to me if no word is heard in 1 more Terran day. Capt. Syrakul.

In a close fought game, with victory going to the AI robots. VP's 1618 to 1054.
Capt. Aquilla and his 5 man Terminator squad didn't arrive until turn 5 and still managed to nearly pull of a dramatic victory. By the end of turn 6 the AI forces were 5 models away from phasing out!
The Speartip was left with Capt. Aquilla and one member of his squad, two meltagun armed Support squad Marines (Havocs) and an Immobilised Vindicator.

Memorable moments: One of the meltagunners destroying the Necron Monolith by rolling three 6's in a row.
The Vindicator not missing a target for the entire game. Until it was stunned and Immobilised by a Destroyer Lord in the bottom of Turn 4.
Capt. Aquilla's wrathful final assault on the bulk of the necron forces in the final 2 turns killing 8 Necrons in C.Combat by himself.
