What do you think of the Sergeant's Mk2 helmet?

Interesting, have you green-stuffed over a Mk7? (After taking off the crest, of course...

Yeah, the helmet was a mark 7.
I shaved the front to a point, and added plasticard strips to form the basic shape of the grille. Then greenstuffed it to even out any irregularities.

I'm trying to write a how-to guide on this conversion. I've been at it for quite a while.

Can't wait to see the tutorial man, it looks cool.

I like they way you painted the metal - it looks very textured. Did you just drybrush them?

The textured look is probably due to me spraying them with purity seal in the great british outdoors.

But yes I did Drybrush. Well actually I used a slightly damp brush, and that's just part of my technique!
