so now as many of you know now i am doing a death guard army. this is my list which i have tryed to keep to the fluff with but also make it hard.

As a fluff idioti, I'd first say, loose something, what you want, and upgrade your squads to ten men!
What's this über optimisation of 6 marines squads?! xD
May seem idiot, but appart from the EC, "Legion" means "lots of marines" to me, and square organisation. So 5 men assault/reckon squads, ok, but ten men tactical squads at least! (wish we could put 20 in them).
Part from that, I'm not a Death Guard expert, so I'll leave it to others.
But more importantly... WE WANT PICSSSSS! xD

pics will be in the next few week :P just got redo my garro as i dont like the one at the moment. yea i get were u are coming from with 10 men squads i probs change that to keep with fluff thx

In many ways the Chaos Codex is better for representing the Legions.
Anyway, I like the list in so far as you can take on just about any opponent with it. The only problems I have are the 6-man squads and the fact that you have 35-ish marines in (what I assume to be) a 1500 pt list. I would drop one of the devastator squads and go for a solid core of 3 ten-man tactical squads with rhinos if you can fot them in. This will give you greater objective-grabbing ability as well as a degree of versatility with enough numbers to keep the squads scoring.
Also, the command squad is a bit expensive for that size of game (I take one all the time, but all my games are 3000pts or more...)
