Well, I think I could help with urban and desert camo. Here's how I did them:

Right then, to show you guys that painting camo is actually far easier than it might seem, a little tutorial which I did a few months ago.
Sorry, the pics are a bit on the blue side as it was a very nice and sunny day then and I took the photos in the shade.
I hope you can see what I did anyways. 8)

I prepared the mini with a black priming and painted the face

Tanned Flesh
Dwarf Flesh
Elf Flesh

then I VERY gently drybrushed the Eagle insignia at helmet, gun, chest, and canteen (more recent version is without eagle).

Skull White

All of the uniform got a second basecoat in

Adeptus Battle Grey (Foundation)

Hands, Shoes, Bayonet, belt, chinstrap (I do not highlight black)

Chaos Black

Metal parts in

Boltgun Metal (a bit of Brown Ink here for the Flamer)

(15 min)

Next I did a rather crude highlighting of the uniform and helmet with

Codex Grey

Then light camo stripes in

Astronomican Grey (Foundation)

Finally dark camo stripes in

Black Grey (Vallejo)

(5min)

Basing (I use flock by Hornby Railway)----very lazy, I know. But why not?

(2min)

Well.....that's it, you're done.

With a little practice it's another guardsman to serve the Emperor in about half an hour.
Obviously one could do a few extra highlights but for game use this standard should be alright.

Give it a try, it's fairly easy but quite effective.

And if it doesn't work out ok, don't worry REAL men don't need camo anyways..
