Title: Fulgrim
Description: what stats
ghostmaker - April 25, 2008 10:33 PM (GMT)
well
I tried every thing and the only one that seems suited to be "fulgrim" is the Abbadon rules set
Terime Armouer (artifcier) Twin Linked Bolter (bolter), Personal Icon (Emperor's Aquilla) Demon Sword ( Ferus Manus Sword) Talon of Horus (Fulgrims Might)
Mark of Tzeencth (mars blessing) Immune to instant death (fulgrims will) T5(primach duh) Strength 8 (fulgrims might) Perfection of the Primach (D6 Attacks and reroll wounds)
What do yall think for a good rule represention

i tend to just use a daemon prince with MoS & lash...
The stats are about where i think they should be in comparison to an eldar phoenix lord (eldar primarch anyone) and it is capable of taking on an avatar and winning though not massivley (like the book) and the lash is there to represent fulgrims alluring pursonality - some will run from his awesome presence, others will hudle in fear while others will approach in awed reverence!
Plus its no where near as game breaking as abbadon...

Not too fluffy to have your primarch blatted by a battery of lascannons though... I'd go with Abaddon. If it was game-breaking, they shouldn't have put him in the army list as a standard choice...

Well Eternal Warrior means he can't suffer Instant Death, and he comes with a 3+ Armour and a 5+ Invulnerable save still. Only downside to using the Daemon Prince rules is that he gets a single Close Combat Weapon and nothing more.

A dev squad of lascannons will still do him in... From across the board...
Vredesbyrd - April 28, 2008 11:50 AM (GMT)
True, but anyone who fields a Devastator Squad of purely Lascannons is in dire need of a beating with pointed sticks! Either that or they go play Tau if they're wanting long range firepower. Broadside Battlesuits FTW!
Using Abaddon is a possibility but as has already been said he is kinda broken, I think house rules are always the best for Primarchs so long as they're not silly. Maye the Daemon Prince stats, minus the Monstrous Creature rule and with wargear and the appropriate ponits change.

Fulgrim, Daemon Primarch of the Emperors children.
WS BS S T W A I LD Save:
8 4 7 7 6 9 7 10 2+/4+
he has 4 arms so give him 9 attacks
Weiss - April 30, 2008 10:14 AM (GMT)
9 attacks is a bit excessive too. I'd say 4-5 attacks basic, then +1 for each of the three extra arms...

yea. But i'm doing pre heretic (demon) Fulgrim and those rules (abbadon's) work well for a primach. And in my group everyone is fine with it. But if some one gets mad. I have a home made abbadon for them.
As for Abbadon being broken not really he walks to point A to B he can still Fail his Arm/Inv. so its not uber broken.
Massaen - May 4, 2008 07:35 AM (GMT)
try using abbadon with a sorcorer of slannesh with lash - THATS broken! just drag the next enemy into charge range!
ghostmaker - May 4, 2008 12:51 PM (GMT)
naw thats broken and not preheresy. but yea thanks yall for the help.
