Basically I undercoated dark grey (codex+black)
Drybrushed the following codex grey, fortress grey, lightly with bubonic brown
then a black ink wash
Then back through the greys codex, fortress, white
Once you have him a nice light color drybrush dark grey(codex+black)on the top of his head, spine, tail and the back of his upper legs.

to sculpt fur, get a toothpick, or slightly hooked metal sculpting tool, and poke away. make sure that every section of the gs is covered. make sure your pokes are very close together, even overlapping.
