If you came across someone who wanted to listen to her and never heard any of her albums, which would you say to start with?

Well it depends. For me her French albums are by far the best BUT they can be a tough listen. You should start with her Greatest Hits I guess and my fav studio album of hers is Falling Into You and then A New Day Has Come.

My favorites (and the only ones I own) are A New Day Has Come and One Heart, although I really don't like the insert for it as it looks like an extended Chrysler ad.

I don't like One Heart. It's kinda rushed and it's Celine pretending to be Britney which I don't appreciate much.

It was quite rushed. One Heart, I Drove All Night, and Love Is All We Need are the best things to come out of that project.

S'il Suffisait D'Aimer pisses all over Falling Into You. The French stuff is indeed superior, my favourite album is
1 Fille Et 4 Types, I love the unknown Céline.

S'il Suffisait D'Aimer is my fav french album by her and not d'Eux which is the popular favorite. I also LOVE the one she released last year, called D'Elles. As you said, her french stuff is so completely superior. In English she's just a big voiced diva screaming and yelling but her french performances are so emotional and nuanced, they're superb.
