...or beyond terrible as its also known

Do you mean terrible as in gruesome or just bad? I don't think the first Hostel was bad. A little slow to start but good when it did pick up pace.

As in bad... I just thought it was an absolute catastrophy of a film. But if you like it... ummm good on yer?

it was a great film in that it was so gory.

Yeah there were a couple of bits that were quite cringey. But most of it looked so ridiculous - that the Japanese girl's eye. And all the BREASTS for the first hour of the film was just uncalled for, and then a car chase at the end?

I was completely puzzled and quite shocked at how bad I thought it was.

The sequel wasn't very good but the bathtub scene was INSPIRED. In a sick, twisted way.

Well as far as the breasts go, it's a throwback to the 80s horror films. If you saw the directors first movie, it was very exploitative and full of tits and gore too.
