Yes. It adds a little more spunk to the mix, a little more umph. The original is OK, but the remix was, I thought, quite subtle.

have you ever heard Susannah Hoff's version of Boys Keep Swinging?

bulletproof_heart - March 10, 2008 04:14 PM (GMT)
Nope I haven't!

I was just listening to Reality on my lunch. God, I love it all! :drama:

no music collection is complete without every album between Space Oddity to Scary Monsters in it IMO. People always talk about how essential The Beatles catalog is, and albums like London Calling, Pet Sounds, Exile On Main Street, etc... IMO, Bowie's 1969-1980 catalog should be in the same breath.

Another 1.Outside loon :D  One of Bowie's best albums yet very unknown.

Does anyone here like 'Earthling'? I want to like it so much but apart from the opening track it doesn't do anything for me sadly.

One of my all time favourite covers!

Earthling was amazing and fresh when it first came out (it was the first Bowie album I bought day of release since I got hardcore into him around 96), but now it drags

I loved Earthling on release, because it felt so fresh, but it's dated very badly.

bulletproof_heart - March 12, 2008 09:56 AM (GMT)
I still haven't listened to any of Earthling! I heard one drum and bass track and it scared me lots

henZ - March 12, 2008 10:47 AM (GMT)
Earthling was a blast when I first heard it and yeah, it's aged pretty badly but there are some great songs on there. It was great to see him do some of them on the Reality tour. That drummer was fucking AMAZING, he played drum n bass songs on like a fucking normal drum kit.

GimmeSomeRiver - March 12, 2008 06:15 PM (GMT)
1. Heroes.

The End. Sorry never could get into him.

at least it's better for Heroes to be the sole song a non-fan likes than then the typical Let's Dance/Fame that I always run into non-fans, but love that song.

henZ - March 12, 2008 07:45 PM (GMT)
"Heroes" is my father's favorite song by him as well.

Matys - March 12, 2008 08:42 PM (GMT)
I like the Heroes/Helden with the German part better, it's so dramatic :drama:

bulletproof_heart - March 12, 2008 10:22 PM (GMT)
I love the innocence of Heroes :drama:
