WTF it looks awesome

What is it about?

Riverwide - May 19, 2008 02:51 PM (GMT)
*SPOILER*

Word is that plants start giving off a toxin that makes people want to kill themselves, to defend themselves from mankind's assault on the earth. Or there might be aliens involved. We're not sure yet! Pretty high-concept and far-fetched to say the least, but it still looks really nasty! The camera shows really horrible things happening to them!!

bulletproof_heart - May 19, 2008 02:55 PM (GMT)
Looks well good!

Mats - May 19, 2008 03:01 PM (GMT)
The more horrible the merrier :alexz:

bulletproof_heart - May 19, 2008 03:32 PM (GMT)
Wonder if the Supremes will make an appearance on the OST :chuckle:

Fembot 1 - May 19, 2008 03:42 PM (GMT)
Not wanting to burst anybody's bubble, but by coincidence I read a really scathing review of this the other day.

http://www.collider.com/entertainment/revi...aid/7903/tcid/1

Guess we'll get to judge for ourselves when it's released in the UK in June.

Riverwide - May 19, 2008 06:18 PM (GMT)
Bubble burster!! :chuckle:

Can't wait to see this on friday. I hope it doesn't stink!

LeToya Abdul - June 10, 2008 03:17 PM (GMT)
The trailer FREAKED ME OUT.

But then again, I'm frightened by Nightmare on Elm Street.

Riverwide - June 10, 2008 03:19 PM (GMT)
:lol2: It *is* a very effective trailer though!

I'll say.

Hmmm....I think I shall create a TOP TEN LIST

My fear is that it does stink. Shamylalalalajajaja did GREAT with The Sixth Sense; Signs and The Village were a bit above mediocre and Lady In The Water I haven't seen and have no desire to do so.

It all kinda went downhill for him.

LeToya Abdul - June 10, 2008 03:49 PM (GMT)
The Lady In the Water looked SO SO SO bad. A lot of people I know said it sucked.

The Sixth Sense is amazing though.

SuperPop - June 10, 2008 07:21 PM (GMT)
I have a feeling that it will be dreadful, after watching the R rated trailer (and reading the rumored story)...we'll see...

I still want to watch 'Lady In The Water' although all my friends told me it was so boring that they couldnt watch it till the end..

bulgar - June 10, 2008 07:38 PM (GMT)

gotta love Shalamamalaiah.

he's *so* underrated!!

bulletproof_heart - June 10, 2008 08:16 PM (GMT)
Lady In The Water was amaing. I love it

Riverwide - June 10, 2008 08:21 PM (GMT)
Wow, I thought me and my sister were the only people on the planet who liked LITW! :lol2:

I can sort of see why lots of people hated it, but I really enjoyed it a lot! I think it was marketed very, very poorly though.

SuperPop - June 10, 2008 08:31 PM (GMT)
the thing is that all his latest movies have appaling word of mouth..for example I loved 'The Village' but I was a minority among all the people I know...

Riverwide - June 10, 2008 08:32 PM (GMT)
I didn't think it was amazing, but I enjoyed "The Village" a lot.

bulgar - June 10, 2008 09:06 PM (GMT)

'the village' was the most inspiring movie i've seen and its OST is THE most beautiful and amazing OST i've ever heard and will most probably ever hear!!!

:drama: :drama: :drama:

very negative review...if more negative reviews will surface, I predict another big flop for Mr Shyamalan (although nothing can beat the floppage of 'Lady In The Water')...

bulgar - June 12, 2008 06:37 PM (GMT)

14% fresh on rottentomatoes.com so far.

"The true disaster on display in The Happening is Shyamalan's career hitting rock bottom."
