What is your favourite Madonna single? And I'm talking about the whole package, the actual song, video, single sleeve, remixes, promotion etc.

It's quite hard, but I think my favourite is Bedtime Story. Great song and an equally awsome video. Remixes are cool and the sleeve is something entirely different.



Close is Die Another Day. Most of the remixes (at least the edits) are almost as good as the original and the video is a classic.

Others: Frozen, Hung Up, Deeper and Deeper, Like a Prayer and What it Feels Like for a Girl.

When I read the thread title, this is the one that I was going to say.

It was a flawless release in the UK.

However, it was never going to be a hit hit. "Bedtime Stories" might have been better served if the record company put their weight behind a more commerical single. If "Take a Bow" had the same effort behind it ...

I also think that "Ray of Light" had a pretty much perfect release.

I have to agree, Bedtime Story was a great single package.

A close second would be Ray of Light.

The 12" of "Bedtime Story" was beautifully packaged too. Absolutely stunning.

Shame the song is so insipid and limp!

Just goes to prove that a great PACKAGE is nothing without a PERSONALITY!

Well Bedtime Story is #13 in my top 50 of greatest Madonna songs of all time. (YES I compiled a top 50 on a rainy afternoon and it was quite fun too :bradleh: )

I have to say I'm not too keen on the song, either. Morel's remix is great, though, without changing the song too much. It just gives it that extra kick.

I'll have to say Vogue, even though the remixes were weak.
