Why can't you come too?

Jimmy Mack - June 4, 2008 08:20 AM (GMT)

He's meeting her for work, Henz. I did say, "Is there NO way you can sneak me in? Fold me up into your laptop bag or SOMETHING?"

Bah!

We're going to see Yazoo in Glasgow tonight. There's a CHANCE I might just phone Gatwick with a bomb scare so that his flight back doesn't get here in time for him to see the concert ...

Well how did he get on with Annie???

And how was Yazoo???

TickTock - June 5, 2008 03:03 AM (GMT)
What work is he doing for her?

I wanna know when she's going to record again!

Oh, he said she was lovely. Really charming, interesting, with a great sense of humour - and stunning looking in the flesh. But, then, she did say HE was much younger looking than he is, so she could have been a cunt and he's still have sang her praises.

Tick Tock - can't tell you at the moment why he was talking to her - I'll be able to do that soon. It's to do with her political work, though, not her music. (She is recording a new album at the moment, if that's any comfort to you!)

Yazoo ... well, they WERE great, but (a few tracks aside) I've never really been a fan of their music. They don't have many memorable tracks. But, the production was great, the crowd generated a FANTASTIC atmosphere, and Alison was in utterly superb voice throughout.

Plus, I got to meet some lovely people from her forum.
