It is indeed a very good album! I love it!
It debuted at #41 in the US, selling 12,000 copies. In Japan it debuted at #18, selling roughly the same.

I noticed on Amazon that it's #45 in rock and #5 in dance and #6 in dance/pop
I guess that's pretty good.

I listened to her first two albums, they're excellent. But I've never LOVED her. I do now though. This is like her Blackout for me.

She's been in my top 3 on last.fm for the last 3 weeks. And I grow tired of albums quite quickly so that says a lot.

nice to see younger fans over here who love this album. I notice on MadonnaNation, there seems to be a divide between people who were born after True Colors hating the album and all things Cyndi represents, and people who were old enough to remember her in the 80's and still support her.

I think there is something REALLY worth listening to on almost every one of her albums. I think she's phenomenal and if there's anyone better than her in concert, I don't know who it would be. She puts on an amazing show and even if you're not a huge fan of her music, you should definitely check out one of her shows.
I am constantly dragging someone to see her (I've seen her 13 times) and they go in feeling like it's going to be a "girls just wanna have fun" marathon and leave wanting every one of her albums.

the album is really great (with the exception of the dreadful 'Lyfe')
especially 'Echo' is FANTASTIC
I dont know why she released 'Same Old Story' for the first single..it is one of the weakest songs...

It's such a great collection of songs... and quite a few different sounds in it too! I'm highly impressed!
