Title: The Apprentice winner...
johnnox - June 11, 2008 04:52 PM (GMT)
I have been at the Daily Star all day. I did not want to know the winner til I saw the show tonight.
I went for lunch when one of my colleagues interviewed the winner on the phone. I left my desk when two others wanted to talk about it.
With TEN FUCKING minutes to go, i walk past a computer and accidentally see the mock up of tomorrows from page and there's a picture of the winner on it.
CUNT SHIT FUCK SHIT! GUTTED!

Nah, I'm not telling. I am GUTTED that I know, I'm not going to ruin it for anyone else.

Well she's been so competent and confident throughout the series. It would seem odd if she didn't win. I guess we'll find out for sure in a wee while!!

Ooooo, please let it not be fanny features Alex.
I simply could not BEAR it!
Riverwide - June 11, 2008 07:41 PM (GMT)
If Alex wins, I think there'll be MAYHEM. He's a deeply unpopular little snake.
Riverwide - June 11, 2008 08:59 PM (GMT)
Absolutely insane result. What on EARTH did the guy ever do? If it wasn't for Claire, he wouldn't even have been able to DO the presentation. He was of very limited intelligence , but it would seem that being a "nice" cheeky chappie sort means more than actually being an excellent businessperson. Jesus Christ.
I'm sure Claire will make a fortune somewhere else though. She'll be headhunted in hours.

  WTF...it seems the rumour that Sir Alan is misogynist must be totally true...
at least Alex didnt win which would be disgraceful...
Riverwide - June 11, 2008 09:04 PM (GMT)
Yeah, it's a better result than Alex winning, but still utterly insane.

Yeah, it kind of made the previous twelve weeks completely void.

It totally did. In other words, you can fumble along, riding on the coat-tails others, lie on your CV, generally act like a nice-but-dim fool and STILL win.
Utterly ridiculous.

It was the same result as last year when that twit Simon won overly the so obviously more capable Kristina.
Still - FABULOUS that cunty bollocks Alex didn't win.
Did anyone watch the "You're Hire/Fired" follow-up programmes? By jove did the producers have it in for ginger Jenny! :chuckle:
I didn't think Lucinda acquited herself very well, though. Rolling her eyes and calling out during Helene's segment, when Helene was actually being rather generous and not at all bitchy, just explaining things from her perspective.
johnnox - June 12, 2008 09:20 AM (GMT)
Lucinda did herself no favours. She'd already branded the other girls bitches in newspaper interviews, but last night was an embarassing step too far.
Any credibility she may have had, and it that was a small amount anyway, was eradicated by last night's outburst.
