Ok, I'm probably not the only one who noticed this but...


COSMO AND KIRLA LOOK SIMILAR!!! If you look, Cosmo's dress is just the folded down verson of kirlia's skirt, and the buds on Cosmo's head are like the two horns or whatever on kirlia!

Oh yeah. This is an old topic that was in debate for awhile on a bunch of Pokemon sites. Personally, I do see the resemblance, but I don't think it was intentional or anything.

I started a topic like this not too long ago. Yes, they do look quite similar. I was thinking that maybe they took design ideas from each other.

I don't think they did, I think they based Cosmo off a sonic character named Void

I don't know when that character was made but I think they intended to make her look like this older sonic character ^^ (who I have know knolage about xD)

if you ask me, they recolored Lumina from Sonic Shuffle, renamed her, and put a dress on her. Look at their heads, thats the closest resemblance.

and yes, Cosmo and Kirlia look alike, and her personality is like Gardevoir's from the PMD(mystery dungeon) manga

yeah but technically you can't copy a personality, otherwise bugs bunny and sonic would be somewhat related (sept for lately anyway ^^)

Could be coincidence, but maybe the animators did get togethor to plan something

seperated at birth? *shot a LOT* xD

Void is the basis of cosmos design, yet no evidence suggests that Kirlia or Gardevoir are taken to the design of Cosmo, its definatly a possibility. But highly unlikley.
