You all know em, even those who weren't into Sonic games at the time. The characters SEGA just left for dead. Honey, Nack, Tiara, Mighty, those kinds. Tell me, are there any particular characters you would have liked to see in newer Sonic games? If so then feel free to discuss 'em here.

I'd like to see Tikal return.

I personally would LOVE to see Sonias return. I hate Sonic Underground, but I LOVED Sonia! A quick whit with a quick mouth, like her brother, but with her own spice. xD

She was just framed, so to speak. Lol. She would have done better if they didn't put her in a Sonic show that flopped.

Edit: And yes, it would be cool to see her in one of the new Sonic games. Really!

I would love to see Tikal and Chaos again.I was dissapointed that they only played any role in one game D: I've always been a fan of the two.
I've also read about a character by the name of Lupe,and she sounds pretty cool,so I'd like to see her,too.^^

I want Fang/Nack to return. Tikal's dead so she won't come back. And Manik, Sonia and all those american show characters aren't official Sega characters. They're fan characters created by the shows maker. I hope Fang comes back soon. Maybe in the next Shadow game?

Actually Tikal and Chaos still exist. They have new offical art now. They just need more games.

Personally I wouldn't mind seeing some of those characters I mentioned up there coming back. Characters like them didn't get much of a chance, and if they had been kept who knows what kind of story might have spawned?

Plus they were before my time (or in one of the big periods when I didn't play any new Sonic games) so I didn't exactly get to find out much about old characters like Fang and Mighty.

It would be kind of neat to have Tikal and Chaos make a comeback in a future game, though in a way I think it would be a bad idea. The new storyline with them in it would probably end up being too similar to the old one. Their stories were mostly covered in SA, and I don't think they have much more of a story to expand into anoher game. I hope that description made sense.

As for Tiara, from what I've read about her, she seems too much like Amy; a girl hedgehog who loves Sonic. Bringing her back would be just like making a clone of Amy. If they change her love interests and if her personality is really different from the existing characters, I guess having her back wouldn't be too bad.
One more thing I find wrong with bringing her back though is that she's a hedgehog, and I think we have enough hedgehogs in the cast already. :[

I would love for Honey to appear in a future game. I don't know much about her, but I think she looks awesome. The only problem with that is that Sonic Team just created a new cat character (Blaze) and they'd kinda be bringing out too many characters of the same species in a short amount of time. Yet again, there's a million hedgehog characters, so why not cats?
Maybe Honey can even be a friend of Blaze's or something.

I don't really know much about Mighty, Nack, Bean, and them, so I can't really say anything.
I am kind of liking Bark the Polar Bear though. I like his looks. But Sonic Team would probably make him too much like Storm the Albetross, since they're both big, tough guys. :[

Ahh, one more thing.
They're not really 'forgotten', though they haven't been appearing in the newer games. Chao anyone? I personally would lovelovelove seeing new chao gardens and such in some of the next games. :]

I think it would be nice to see Tikal make a return appearance, as well as, the chao.
I've really missed the chao garden ever since SA2B.
It was fun raising those little guys. ^_^
But also, I feel that even Tails is slowing being forgotten as he's pushed into the background.
His gameplay in Sonic 06 was terrible and his role was minor.
However, out of all of those I'd love to see the chao to make a return.
They were cute and the stat raising process was addictive. :)

Hmmm, the only one i can realy would like to see back, is Scratch and Grounder, they where the awesome ss squad team. Much better then the new ones i say.

Then again Bunny where a cool bunny, with a metal arm, ouch, she could realy slap someone if she woulød have getted angerd. :lol:

Then, i am not shure about so many others actually, cuz i cant realy remember Tikal, or anyone of them except for Mighty, but that was like a slight viev of him in the game Knuckles on Sega Genesis 32bit. Yup, that`s about it.

That, my friend, is what we call a crack at SEGA. >_> The fans never really forget old characters. (Hell you'd be surprised by a lot of things fans do.) But SEGA has no problem with dropping a character and never coming back.

I'm not so sure they CAN come back. Didn't they vanish into a flash of light or something? o.O

Now this is the character I'd ratherly like to see in a game. I like her design, despite the fact that it was made from another character's design (Honey/Candy of Fighting Vipers), and if you go on sites like Sonic Cult you can read about how much was put into her model on Sonic the Fighters.

And funny you should mention Blaze. That link I posted a few posts back, using the words "who knows what kind of story" as the text, was a link to a fan-made profile by the creator of DeviantArt's Honeythecat-club. It involves several characters, like Mighty and Ray, and even Blaze. [link]

Yeah, I never learned much about those guy, cuz there wasn't much TO know...but their designs....were kind of...ug....I dunno, a duck, an armadillo, and a polar bear. Something about it throws me off. But Nack was ratherly cool, in a way.

Yessums, they did. That means they're dead, doesn't it? They are only spirits at that point, so I think the vanishing into light thing means that they 'moved on' so to speak, so I'm pretty sure the two are permanently dead. That kind of makes it hard for them to appear again...

Ohh, I like the idea of having a manx on the cast. It's an original species that hasn't been used yet. but like I said in my description for Honey, they just made a cat so maybe they should wait a bit before releasing another one.
What I like about Tiara is that her design is kind of neat. I like how they did her hair, though it reminds me of Sally Acorn's in a way.
I still think they should change her love interests and such though, just so she's not to much like Amy. I also think that they should change her last name, Boobowski. Or else she'll get as many perverted comments as the Wii first did, maybe more. x3

Oh, yes. I was reading up about Honey today, which is when I found out that she was based off of the Fighting Vipers character. As much as I would love to see her be put in a newer game, wouldn't it be copyright infringment since she is basically just the Fighting Vipers character Sonic-ized? Maybe if they alter her appearance a bit then she'd be fine, even though I really like how she looks now.
After you mentioned it, I read up on how much they worked on her for Sonic the Fighters. It's obvious that they really did want to develope her since they worked so hard making her expressions, moves, ect. I actually read on the Honeythecat-club that the creators ran out of time and didn't have enough time to put her in the game. If that's true, I sure wish they were given enough time. >_<

And that person mentioned Ray the Flying Squirrel. Once again, I don't know much about him either though he seems like a really neat character. Being a squirrel would make him an original animal on the Sonic cast, and we need some different animals besides hedgehogs. >_< He'd probably have neat abilities such as flight too.

I agree, their designs could have been abit more original, though if they brought any of them back they could edit their appearences a bit like they did for Vector, Charmy, and Espio.

Tikal was already dead in SA, and Chaos is supposed to be the god of destruction - so I doubt he could die.

Still, I doubt their return as well. Their storyline has been done. I doubt we'll see Elise either. Her story has "been done" as well.

Although, they could bring Tikal back as a character for multiplayer games. At least some fans will be happy to know she hasn't been completely "lost".

Sure, with Blaze and Marine they were new species, but...still...too many **** new characters, and since there's a lot of hedgies...by the way wasn't Silver originally meant to be a mink? (I recall reading this on IGN or something.)

Even if she is based off a Fighting Vipers character...I'd still like to see her in some new Sonic stuff. But if they did that they'd probably try to change her design way too much, and really #$%^ it up. >_> Personally I think a lot of fans are better with clothing than SEGA. Plus if they removed her wings, which they probably would, it'd really be a big annoyance, cuz those, along with being cute, open up a lot of possibilities.

Ohh, very true. I don't trust Sonic Team with recreating Honey's design. It'd probably look terrible afterwards since they would take away too much from her. I wish they did look on fansites and such to get ideas. I have a feeling that not only her appearence would turn crappy, but ST wouldn't give her the best selection of powers either. I see Honey a a martial arts person myself, like in that person's profile of her.

You know, we should work for Sega when we're older and teach them a lesson about character designs. >D

The problem I have with some of the old characters like that is that they seem too unoriginal. For example, Mighty is basically just Sonic with Shadow's colors and Knuckles' strength.

True, but not too many of the characters have a really specific species. Like, Blaze is just a cat, but no certain type of cat.

Espio is also a really cool character and i think they should use him more

I would love to see Bean, Scratch, and Grounder return. Though Scratch and Grounder don't have much of a chance, it would be cool if they at least made a cameo somewhere, but not very likely. As for Bean, he could was in Sonic the Fighters, and he was pretty cool. Also, Tails Doll and Mecha Knux would be cool to see.
