I'm surprised after the release of Sonic Rush Adventure that there wasn't a topic about her.. Well there is now >=D

I adore Marine, she's my favorite after Cream & Tikal, who are my absolute favorite characters. Even though I don't know that much about her, from what I've read and seen, Marine is my kinda character and that's why she made my top 3. ^_^

She has an australian accent and she talks a lot xD

i haven't played the game yet, but I thought it was strange that they didn't let her be playable.

She's kinda like another sidekick really D= She made some of the dialogs humorous though

I only hope that she won't be another filling character. She looks nice overall :3

I adore Marine! I really like her spunky attitude, it's different from all of the other characters. She adds all kind of humor to the game too, which I really like. Plus, how can you deny an awesome Australian accent like that? x3
Also, I like her design. Many people say she's a recolor of Cream, but the only similarity I see between the two are the circle things around the eyes. Other then that, they look pretty different.

In the end, I think she's a wonderful character, and she's my favorite female of the cast.

Yeah she REMINDS me of Cream in appearance, but they don't really look like eachother at the same time.

I agree, her appearance does remind me of Cream in a lot of ways.
Though a lot of people I see say that she's basically an exact recolor of Cream, which I totally disagree with. they aren't that alike. =/

Yeah she's nowhere near a recolor, her species and hair and just all around appearance is different from Cream's. I think Marine is really cute and stuff... wish I could see her in the game though since I keep hearing how funny she is and stuff...

I agree she's really funny, random, and she speaks in a cool accent. She is an interesting little character and I think she's a great addition to the lineup.

You know, I was actually planning on starting a topic for Marine. Don't know why I never got around to it. :P

Well, for a charcter that is unplayable through the whole game, she was done extremely well. I really would like SEGA to find a way to reintroduce her in the future because I really enjoy having her around.

One interesting thing that happened when I first saw her in the instruction booklet, was that I was instantly hit with the idea of Marine&Tails. I don't know where the idea came from, but while I played the game, I looked for any possible hints within the game. One of the few hints was Marine showing how much she seems to admire Tails for his ability to build, well, pretty much anything. The way she comments Tails on a job well done says alot. As for Tails, well, there are many times that the three, (Sonic, Blaze and Tails) just want to spell it out for her on how they feel about her joining them on this adventure. With these moments, Tails really doesn't want to tell her because he doesn't want to hurt her feelings. In fact, when Blaze finally spells it out and Marine runs away crying as a result, Tails feels rather hurt.

These things put together seem to tell me that there's something going on here. I could really see this as a possible canon shipping in the future. :)

Anyways, I really hope SEGA will bring her back. Who knows? She could actually be in Sonic Riders 2 for all we know. ^_^

I worded my post wrong. I wasnt trying to ay it wasnt a great idea for her to be in it, im saying that its highly unlikely.

I think Silver and Blaze are the two new characters in the game... but who knows... even though it's unlikely, I'm hoping for Marine to be playable in Mario & Sonic... but like I said it's highly unlikely so it's not like I have my hopes up or anything.

Marine is an OK character, but i do wish SEGA would stop adding new characters every single game. Her immaturity makes me LOL at times and an Australian accent is awesome.
