She seems to be popular, I'm not sure on how long she'll be around though.
Whether Sega/Sonic Team wants to get rid of her or not, I guess it lies in her popularity with the fans.

I'm not much of a fan of the more recent Sonic characters, but I think Blaze is pretty cool.

I think that Blaze the Cat is another of my favourite Sonic characters because she fights with honor even against Dr Eggman.

She still seems kinda new. Even compared to Rouge, Cream, or Shadow. I got into Sonic in 03.

Blaze is an awesome addtion to the sonic series, she seams popular too.
