Something about the whole Tails being female thing that the site doesn't tell you. FUS originally started that as an in-joke, because in most Sonic incarnations Tails sounds like a little girl (Quex hasn't referenced it for a long time though). It was also a bit of irony because AoStH and SatAM are the only two Sonic incarnations where Tails' VA was actually male instead of female, and FUS is a SatAM fansite.

One thing I do know is Tails original intent was to be female. And I think it would've been sort of awkward. I like Tails better as a guy. I think a male gender suits him and his appearance better. And plus he's Tails and thats why I love him ^^

actually, in the Spanish dub of AoStH(I think) tails is female, and is referred as "Tailies" "she" "vixen" etc (all in Spanish of course).

In France, Tails is a male but he's voice is played by a female too. ^^ (who also play Aerith from FF VII series)

I already knew how tails was created and I agree with Adam prower and the others he is best off as a boy. I just can't imagine tails as a girl because I'm used to seeing him as a boy and plus if he wasn't a boy then my favorite couple (tails and cosmo) wouldn't exist so I'm glad tails is a boy. ^^
