This is Darkspines Sonic. He appeared in the ending/final battle of Sonic and the Secret Rings. By using 4 of the seven world rings, Sonic was able to transform into Darkspines Sonic. Who is he exactly? Is he related to Dark Sonic?

Mmm... He's just one of the four transformation Sonic's O_o I don't think we'll be seeing this guy for a while, perhaps they got tierd of using SuperSonic? He's like some sort of voodoo hedgehog xD

Hmmm... Maybe he will play a major role in the next Sonic game. Most likely, he'll become an enemy to the others and split himself from Sonic to live his own life.

Just like Dark SuperSonic, O_o what he's saying is that Dark Spine might split up from Sonic somehow and live his own life, he'll possibly be an enemy.

Well I don't know myself because I never managed to beat Levitate Ruins. I'd say he's the game version of Dark Sonic. But I do know that he is evil. Because he has no eyes, it means he's feeling nothing but rage.

He reminds me of this flash movie that I saw called Sonic vs. Super Sonic.

But he was born from darkness, so he might come back when Sonic's in a pinch.

Hmmm... Some people said the same thing before they read the comic, now look at them... They are believers now... besides, He probably will split from Sonic if he uses the Emeralds too much and then becomes his own person.

Some one could use a strange technique to separate that form from him and use it.

DarkSuper Sonic is just Sonic manifesting off the negative energies off the chaos emeralds... Or getting REALLY REALLY ticked off.

DarkSpines Sonic is in NO WAY in relation. Sonic was infused with the 4 negative energies that made up Arabian Nights, thus making DarkSpines Sonic.

Case Closed.

Darkspines Sonic, is probably a fused version of super sonic, with the normal, so that means he is way stronger than the yellow haired hedgehog. Also, he beat up the main enemy of Sonic and the secret rings (cant remember the name...) and beat him up good.
I think that was good how darkspines sonic did that ^^

@Cypher: Cypher the energie that Sonic is manipulating are World Rings but the have the same colour as the Chaos Emerald which is obvious.

Talking about the whole game itself for instance... How sonic was put into the game was okay to his personality but that there where 7 world rings with the same collor of the chaos emeralds are in my eyes a *Coughripoffcough*

but Tails as Ali Baba WTF!!!! has sonic team gone nuts?? they really have to put something usefull there. though it gave a funny moment when sonic saw Ali baba while he thought it was Tails. I was like LOL OMFG xD .

the one with knux was also nice but with the erazor Djin and that ring genie (don't know the name of the ***** that was sonic's genie) I was like omfg this is stupid to the bone.

Back to DarkSpine, I can't really say that sonic would be called DARKspine for instance.
look sonic with A HELL OF ANGRE TO UNLEASH is something else. but his head looks like the front of a dodge viper with those 2 stripes.

No I can't say DarkSpine is a sucses.
