It's officially 2008 now! Weee~

It's past 4 AM here...but some of you would have already celebrated or are celebrating it now, I imagine. Or you're just waiting for it come...I've no idea...but yeah! '08, here we come! =D

So how did you guys celebrate New Years Eve/Day?

And what's your New Year Resolution?

I basically spent my New Years Eve at the beach, and am spending New Years Day with family. Plus~ my new year resolution is to not be so lazy. P:

It's not new years for another 6 and a half hours for me. I'm not really doing anything for new years, my dad was gonna invite people over, but he was too busy to arrange anything. >:

I'll probably just watch TV and go.

I'm hosting a party tonight, it's gonna be crazy.

And my new years resoloution is to cut down on the drinking.

2007 was rather uneventful overall, I believe, but I feel good for this next year.

This isn't such a big thing here in my family. It's almost like every other day... except that there are good shows in Tv... hah.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!! 2008 is here! The time here is January 1st 2008, 12:20! Did you guys see the London Fireworks? it was amazing! Breath-taking and inspirational, I hope it goes on youtube so I can show you all! I'd love to know how much all those fireworks cost! I'd suspect atleast £3 million. Big Ben marked midnight with its grand chimes. The whole of Embankment was filled with smoke from the fireworks to the extent that the last few could hardly be seen! Amazing!

I love the new year fireworks, so inspiring.

So stuff here in England that happened in 2007:

• The Smoking ban was passed on June 1st
• Tony Blair resigned after 10 years of governing and left 10 Downing Street (10 Downing street is the home of all PMs through history) with people chasing his car.
• Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II celebrated her 60th wedding anniversary. She is the first ever monarch to do this in all our history. The event was on TV and ended with a remarkable piece of royal trumpet music.
• The Queen has become the oldest monarch in all British History. A 55 year reign seeing 11 PMs. She still has to reach 2015 in order to beat Quen Victoria's record of longest reign.
• The Queen was supposedly filmed furiously storming out of a photo shoot when the photogrpher said to her "remove your dressy crown". This was proved a hoax, she was filmed going to the shoot not storming away.
• Labour Party is screwed because they were caught taking illeagle donations. Looks like the Conservatives are coming in...
• Christmas day marked the 50th anniversary of the televised Christmas broadcast in which the Queen wishes a merry christmas to Britain and the comonwealth. It was also the first message in HD

Queen breaks another royal record Sky broadcast about the oldest monarch. Greeted by the 20 year old Princess Elizabeth (today's queen) pledging herself to the commonwealth. Amazing that she is so young

My New Years Resolution is to get back to regular exercise

I did, but that's all I did, watch. I was hosting a party and someone kinda broke the TV and the sound didn't work : /

a few arguments, didn't go to bed until 6am and a small bit of mess, but other than that, it was a good new years celebration.

My New Year has already not got off to a good start, shortly after posting that message, I tripped over a box, smashed my head across a corner of the table, sprained my ankle & hurt my knee...

I hope that's one of few incidents I have this year ._.;
