Well, it was hard to decide, but finally, I voted for SX, because of Taismo. I could not decide between AoStH and SX...it was tough...

AOSTH. It rawked, yeah. It was both funnier and more entertaining than Sonic X in my opinion.

I forgot to add; I havn't seen much of the other 2 cartoons, maybe 1 episode? So I don't think I could choose any of them really.

AoSTH of Course! With it's slapstick humor, the introduction of Scratch and grounder, and the awesome design of Robotnik. I just love this show, I have all the eps. Not mention this is the show used most in YTP. I used watch this on TV all the time.

Personally I like abit of each I think AoStH was fuuny, I hardly watched SatAM, Sonic X more modern and Sonic the Movie was werid.

I liked Sonic The Movie because it has Mecha in it.

AoSTH was a great show, not just by video game show standards, but in general. There was just the right amount and kind of humor that really made it an enjoyable watch.

SatAm was a good show, but it was a bit too serious, in my opinion. Plus there wasn't enough Tails. :TailsSad:

Sonic Underground made me laugh uncontrollably, and not in a good way. Sonic X was just okay.

Normally, I'd have to lock this thread as it's been bumped. It hasn't recieved posts since January. Looking at this topic though, I think it deserves a pin. It's the kind of topic you'd expect to find when looking at this section and will stop people making this same topic multiple times over.

I was going to make this topic myself, as I saw no other topics here, but I remembered the 30 day cutoff and found this one.

sonic underground!!!! it had teh coolest sonic character (Manic) in it plus the cheesey songs every episode, and what really wins it for SU is the kickass theme tune!!! =D

Tough decision, but I'd have to say SatAM. I prefer the storyline and such. However, I like the artwork from Sonic X the best. AoStH was a bit too kiddy in my opinion (That's NO good! XDDD *slapped*) and the cheesy song in every episode of Sonic Underground gets rather annoying. xD;

This is pretty much the opposite of what I normally see in these polls. Usually SatAM and AoSTH are first, then Sonic X, then Underground.

The Sonic OVA with Metal Sonic is the best if you ask me. But if not that, I'd go for Sonic Underground. It's a shame it wasn't finished.

SatAM is still the best one to me. Storwise, it's the only Sonic series that really tried to be different.

Sonic X tried at the end to be different, and it was for a little while, but it just... wasn't the same.

AoStH is my fav Sonic toon. Its really funny and enjoyable. Plus it was a childhood fav aswell. :T0:

IS AOSTH! adventures of sonic the hedgehog! 4 year old tails who is cuuute! and chilidogs too! and momma robotnik! best...sonic...series...eva! and it teaches you a lesson at the end. :TailsAngel:

Honestly, I never ever saw SATAM, I always thought it was too serious of a plot fur meh. I still love watching Adventures just because its so randomly funny. ^-^

My vote went to 'Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog' - terrific series, I've watched every single episode! Has snatches of music and references from the ol' Mega Drive games, it's positively flowing with humour, and it makes you want to watch it over and over again! And Tails is kinda cute, too.

I will NEVER EVER accept the 4Kids version of Sonic X good. In fact, I feel it should be a choice all it's own and so that we can mock it with getting no votes whatsoever. :T14:

That being said, it ends up being a tough choice between the JAPANESE version of Sonic X or SatAM. However, I do have one thing about the true version of Sonic X that I did not like, and sadly makes it lose the vote in the end.

I will say that I did enjoy part 1 and 3, (One for it's silliness and three for it's epic storyline.) but part 2, and the destruction of the scenes in the game adaptations, (Chris' scenes. Enough said.) just always gets to me.

SatAM was the best, period! So good, that it was the ultimate sin to cancel it. (Why did they do that? Why? :T2: )

Talking of the 4Kids Sonic X, I doubt I'll ever be able to watch it in my lifetime, certainly not through the internet, because of 'broadcast right restrictions'... other than having to get up extra early and tuning in to Jetix, I have no other way to watch either form of Sonic X, really! :T1:

While you are completely right on which one is the best, I'm sorry that I have to be nit picky. Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog actually beat SatAM to the punch on the subject of THE First Sonic Cartoon. I know AoSTH only beat it by like a week but it's still first.

AoSTH in my opinion might be the worst of them honestly IMO. Most of the plots were weak. The characters annoying. And Robotnik was just a joke. Even MORE than he is nowadays. Plus not to mention all the recycled humor I remember seeing. Also the Art was... bad. Completely bat crazy not making any se-- I'll stop.

Sonic Underground was... errr ok I guess. It's just weird... Sonic X actually wasn't that good of an anime. Yes I know Cosmo is so important to a lot of people, especially Taismo. Taismo being the first Tails couple (Cmon they held hands and stuff and they're alive unlike the few pages of the Archie Comic: Tails Mini Series with Tails and Robo Fiona) to actually rival and/or surpass the Tailream fanbase. I loved those Taismo moments no matter how cliched they were.

SatAM is just the best. If you haven't seen it... Well go watch it illegally or buy the dvd boxset. You really are missing the best of the best. Y'wanna know how much I love this series? Even though I could easily just commit piracy on the entire show and download episodes, I bought the boxset. Wondering how that is a big deal? Well let me show you my other boxsets... *stares blankly*
