Well, my sprite topic died. Again. I need to learn not to be so lazy. @~@

Anywho, like the title says, this topic isn't just for sprites anymore, but also animations, which I just learned to do.



Fireball effect thingy. Also on Croc's sheet as Chaos Burst.

Also, my avi was animated by me, too.

I'll post sprite sheets again soon. Here's stuff to look forward to:

1. Croc sheet updates (Every now and then)
2. Cloe sheet updates (Not so often)
3. New Raika sheet (Eventually)
4. Tyros sheet (Eventually)
5. Rad sheet request (Almost done. Sorry for taking so long, Rad. <=( This'll be my top priority for now)
6. Neon sheet request (...Yeah, this'll take a while to get back to)
7. More animations (Every now and then)

I'm sure he'll like it, but a few quick tips...:

Okay, so first of all... try not to mix Battle and Advance sprites in one sheet.... X_x if you're gonna add advance style in there, at LEAST change their shading to the official battle style. ;3

Second of all, try not to use ONLY the third darkest tone of black for the outline on the clothing. Try using the darkest shade of black; where no light/ barely any light hits at all.
Also... just try not to make the pants all one blob; try adding wrinkles and such. ;]

But, otherwise, pretty good! :3

And here you didn't tell me that you could do gloves D= you could be a pal and help me with Sky Advanced.

Jirachi: Thanks for all the advice. I used the same pallete for the fur and clothes, though, so really, the only coloring out of whack is the skin. Still, might go back to that later. Besides, how can I help not using Advance sprites when Battle doesn't have some of the poses.

Other than that, I'll probably go back with the rest of that advice and fix some stuff.

Or maybe not, since I'm so lazy and it already took a lot of work to do it the first time. xD

That's why I said that you can edit the Advance style sprites to have teh Sonic Battle- type shading. ^-^
There's a tutorial for the Sonic Battle shading style here, on SSN.

olol. I should know what it's like to be too lazy to fix stuff. In fact, I'm kinda a perfectionist, so if I find just the slightest flaw in a sprite sheet and whatnot, I'll correct it... pretty soon after that, I keep finding more and more. In the end, it'll look almost nothing like it did before, but at least I corrected it and it looked better. =3

Oh, and btw, I didn't have much time to say this earlier, but I really like the animation. ^-^
I like animating, also; I got a brand new animator (actually, I had it installed on my old comp, but Kotetsu gave me teh to download it to my new laptop. I was like all "Oh NUUUEEEZ ITS T3H CRAPPY ANIMATR!!!!11one!!! D:" because it changed the pallete, but after I installed it here, I soon figured out that you could switch it to be a Optimal Pallete, meaning that it allows all the colors. :D), and I've been animating quite a bit recently. I'm an amatuer, but I mean, not a TOTAL amateur, 'cause I used to animate all the time and such. However, I probably could'nt animate special effects like that. Nice! =3

Well, I just started animating, so I am an ameteur. Glad you like my animations too, though. =D

That wasn't a bad comment, just neutral. He was saying that he hasn't seen any change in Croc's spriting since last time, but he also added that they aren't any worse, so it's just... bascially neutral.

It wasn't supposed to do any of the above, just to state a simple/ small point....

I think it is good that those are animaterable! mine are always messedup. xD nice sprites!
