~Dan Ripped most of them.
~ZGTD (something like that) ripped the Sonic advance 1 ones.
~SEGA created them.
~I edited them.

Okay, this is Talix one of my most evil Characters, she is ment to have purple tails and a few other changes, because recently i`ve been updating my characters...

Hmm... Shading! Yes!

For Kuli, the brightest purple is a little too high... ^^;;
You might need to dim it down a bit...

As for Angel... She needs some shading work. o.o And perhaps
a more clear outline...

Other than that, everythings A-Ok! Keep going friend ^^

This is Kya, she`s Kylia`s Sister, Devilchao uses Kylia, but i sprited them both.


Flare and Flara, Flare The Hedgehog sprited Flare, on the left, and i used the colors to sprite Flara.

Pokemon Elite 2000 ripped the pokes.

This is probly the best sprite i have done, took like 2 hours and the Tail was TORTURE, but it`s done.

My attempt at Pillow shading, don`t think it worked great..

any ideas how i can improve?

While the idea is cool, I think you should Anti-Alias the sprite, instead of Pillow shading it, as Pillow Shading is one of the worst ways of adding texture D8

In case you don't know how to Anti-Alias, heres a tutorial.

AAing is also used in simple shading styles, where shading is not much visible =3

Alright then. I've been gone for about a week, but let's see here.

Pretty good so far, just try to work on the shadng and outlining. Remember- especially with Angel's wings- that not everything should be shaded in the outline color. There definetely needs to be some black outlining, also, which is wherever the light barely hits the area, if at all.
Sorry to emphasize that text like I'm talking to you like you're dumb or something, it's just that when I told a couple people to do that in the past... they didn't really seem to understand very well. X_x

Sorry, not much to say right now, but yeah. I just got off of my week of grounding. ._.

Yeah, i did`nt like the pillow shading it was hard and i did`nt like the example and *balbs on* someone just told me that i should have pillow shaded.....

yeah, that sounds good....Angel dos`nt have any wings, i`m planning to make a "Anglic" form and that will have wings, but it was either her Tails or Natalie you saw i think, and sure it`s fine ^^

Ah, I see. Well, it's not like pillow shading can't be or isn't effective, it just depends on how you use it.

I'd post of my recommendation of how to shade them, but... I will later, I'm kinda lazy right now. XP
