Well the rumor's going around with Sonic going were-wolf.
How do you think it will be portrayed? Will Sonic have conscious thought? will be have the instinct to rip things to shreds? will he be able to recognize Amy Tails and the others? Will he be a good-sonic with no change but appearance? or a crazed werehog? O.o
I dunno been wondering about how it will go down.

It would be quite crazy if WereSonic would love Amy. xD
But seriously, what if he would want to kill his friends?
It would be awesome if he would turn into WereSonic when Eggman kidnaps Tails and/or Amy and BAM! WereSonic to the rescue! =D

I think it would really won't be a difference since he is the hero! (Dang, I wish Tails was)
So he might bite people to shreds then find out that he has to be good or something ^^

Were-Sonic is created when Eggman experiments on Sonic using the Chaos Emeralds. From what I've read, he won't be evil. However, what he'll be like remains a mystery. I wonder if he'll be an anti-hero instead of a hero....

I kind of think that Were-Sonic should act like a Were-whatever he becomes In my opinion. Making him good? When people become werewolves (in stories), they have the instinct to hurt others and capture prey. Sonic should lose all memory when he's in the were form.

in sonic unleashed, yeah. he has LONG HAIRY ARMS and BIG SHARP CLAWS and he's rabid. awesome.

I've heard that the experiment also does something to Sonic's super form as well. I don't know if it's confirmed or just a rumor though.

As much as I love Sonic being a hero, I hope his were-hog form is evil, or at least an anti-hero. It'd make a neat plot twist if he turned against his friends while in his were-form. When ever you see were-anythings in movies, it always turns even the nicest of people into evil, mean creatures.
Though, it would be kind of neat to see a nice were-creature too. It would go against the "turning evil" cliche.

I agree with Morgan, I think it'd be neat if he were to lose all memory and turn against his friends and stuff while in were-form.

It does make you wonder if were-beasts should be counted as evil since people cannot control themselves in that form.

This is true, I've seen a magazine about this game. The experiment is true and Sonic goes super and Eggman uses a contraption and captures Super Sonic and then the experiment goes wrong thus creating Were-Sonic. I believe that's what will happen.

Well we all know what is the cause of all this so that does'nt need explanation or annything.

What would be neat is that since Sonic turns were-sonic / evil / anti-hero / etcetra etcetra... that Tails would jump in to find a way to cure sonic and make Tails the hero that will save the day or something like that.
Or that were-sonic attacks Tails or Amy and after the whole ride comes to his censes and figures out that he is fighting his Bro/ SideKick or "Girlfriend" (don't really know what I should call Amy)

Well if I can recall, I've read the book, "Blood and Chocolate" (haven't seen the movie), and that's the only thing I've read that allows the werewolves to control theirselves for most of the time.

Were-sonic was indeed created by eggman. Whether it was intentional or not is still unknown. And so far it looks like he does have SOME conciousness as videos show him solving puzzles and fighting ala god of war.

It looks like there MAY have been come creativity to this gimmick, but what really gets me is that, if this new form was created by the power of the chaos emeralds, why does the moon have any effect on it, regaurdless of the fact that he's a werewolf? I understand the myths and stories and etc, but this form was founded off of energies from the chaos emeralds, right?

My thought is that Werewolf Sonic cannot speak, but he can growl and somewhat control himself.

The night obviously has an effect on him, for those creatures come out, and he'll be traveling across world, including time zones. One week is the time limit I believe. Maybe the moon or dark atmosphere is dense with negative Chaos energy. Say the positive energy, including rings, during this time give him an even faster pace of speed.

It's obvious that the Chaos Emeralds do not control when Sonic transforms, however, I heard that in it, Sonic didn't just change until night, oh no, he just POOFED and there was WereSonic.
It would be funny if he loves Amy and flips Amy out.

Actually, no. The emeralds have SOMETHING do to with it. But no. The emeralds were drained, and it's up to Sonic to get the emeralds and restore the world.

I think Sonic is gonna have the same personality as he does with his regular form. If he has to restore the world back together, how would him being evil make him do it?

That "were-hog" thing Sega came up with was the biggest fail I heard of, but the mere fact they're going to make him a "were-hog"made my day.

I think Sonic will be evil as a Werehog. Eggman might be tricked or already know, but I bet you he woun't attack his friends. He might have some kind of flash-back if he does. xD
other that my idea, I think SEGA is losing their touch with Sonic (What am I talking about? They lost their touch on Shadow the Hedgehog!)

My idea is that everyone becomes his enemy when he's the werehog. He'll probably attack everyone that he sees. Sounds a bit cliche, but the idea of him becoming one in the first place is a cliche so it works. :P

Maybe overtime he begins to learn how to control himself in that state, or maybe the help of his friends could make that happen. Of course, I be Robotnik would attempt to use Sonic's state to his advantage. It would probably be much easier to control the mind of a werehog than Sonic himself.
