Surprisingly he turned out quite a cool villain, i didn't see a downside to his character.
actually he was really interesting before he became a meterex leader then he became this unbeatable villain.

The whole "I'm gunna take over the universe! >D" motto, brings back memories, aye? =3

I thought he was a cool villian. He was powerful and he planned ahead. What I thought was weird though was when he was reunited with Earthia. He was like "I'm so glad to see you again!" but I was like "Didn't you attack her ship?". That scene needed a bit of explaination. It's not like we saw any regret shown by Dark Oak (well, not in any of the episodes I've seen anyway).

The first time I saw him I thought that Eggman finally made a cool robot. But when eggman was attacked by his men I thought WOW this badguy kicks butt HARD.
Beating supersonic I was like OMG this bad guys is the man.

He planned ahead, was strong and merciless. The bad guy who could bring the world to it's knees if he just wasn't so stupid to transform into something ugly.

the make a long tale short: Dark Oak was a bad guy that Sonic X needed. and was one of the coolest bad guys to have around.

Dark Oak was a pretty good villain. That's pretty it. I mean, I really didn't see any flaws. I guess I'll watch the episodes just to find flaws.
