Anybody here an actual musician or wanting to be one? A lot of my friends are. Most of my friends are guitarists, and since I got my first guitar not too long ago I'll finally be able to learn myself, though I have to say it will be hard for them to teach me since I play left-handed =\

I have some skill at flute for the time being though.

Oh and I know a drummer. WOW. These people are spazzy.

I'm a rock vocalist, and I also play guitar, but I'm primarily a singer. I'm hoping to form a band in the near future with my cousin, who plays guitar. don't know exactly when we're going to start working on it though

And left handed people can play guitar, there are several musicians that are left handed and play it fine. You'll get it if you stay dedicated =3

i play alto sax.... dont know if i can get that as a band since theres not many jazz bands i know of.....

True, some left-handed guitarists I know are Kurt Cobain, Jimi Hendrix, and Tony Iommi. I play guitar too. I don't know if I'll make it to big-time but I at least want to have a good garage band with friends where we can just jam-out! \m/

I know left-handed guitar is possible, haha I love Hendrix, but I was trying to say that it'd be hard for my friends to teach me when they have to think backwards. They have enough hell watching me play Guitar Hero.

I myself play guitar for fun. I play covers of my favourite songs and that's about it. If I was to ever jam out with other musicians it would probably start with my brother, seen as he has a new found passion for drums. My friend plays bass guitar, becuase 6 strings are too hard for him xD no offence, bassists.

Need a vocalist though, seen as neither of us would have the balls to sing. Also there's the fact that my brother is pretty arrogant and thinks he knows everything about guitars and drums just becuase he plays drums on Rockband. I think I'd get sick to death of hearing him constantly pointing out how much harder drums are to play compared to guitar. Seriously, I don't give a **** and TBH, it's a matter of opinion not a fact.

My best friend's boyfriend is a drummer and he's constantly fiddling with his drumsticks... tapping them on his knee, the wall, my bedpost, the rock band drums in my living room, his steering wheel, christ almighty man x.x

My best friend herself is a guitarist and singer. She wrote a song for me for my birthday, and **** it was great. She's gotten a lot better since then but she doesnt want to admit it :P

Well... I can play a little bit on my flute... (Not the best and first instrument I wanted to play) and I actually want to learn to play a guitar. I know most people can already do that but I just want to learn it for fun.

Mostly these days I sing along with a song or I tend to tap my fingers along with the song on the desk. Maybe it's a piano man thing... I don't know. But mostly I sing along with a song.

Man if only we could meet up, I need to find another flute player besides my mom... x.x

I play drums and was in a band, but I've quit now. I can't afford lessons anymore and couldn't/can't save enough to get my own proper drum kit so I've basically given up. |:

But I know quite a few people who are in bands. A few of my closest friends are too. I always make sure to go to their gigs, too~ =D

Cliché as it is, I play guitar. It's one of the most versatile instruments around, but even then there are limits to it. I've been trying to practice piano some - it's slow going, and I'd love a teacher. I'd also love to learn the sax - Cannonball Adderley, John Coltrane, Wayne Shorter...They could get inflections out of their instruments that many guitarists could only dream of (well, unless you're Allan Holdsworth or something). :P
