I usually hate the olympics, I find it too boring. I don't know anyone competing and the events bored me to death. Recently though, I've watched a few events when my family have been watching. It wasn't bad. I'd probably watch it again, but it's not like I'll purposely find the time for it or anything.

Well... I don't really care who wins you know... I only want to watch the martial sports: Karate, Judo, Taikwondo, (Aikido perhaps), fencing and bow shooting.
To bad I missed the bow shooting contest. I would really wanted to know how those guys shoot. (I am not that half bad with a bow either if I may say so... :TailsAngel: )

But I must say.... we wait 8 years for 10 days of competition? Oh well.... it makes it something to look forward to. I wonder where the next Olympic games will be held in about 8 years.

Actually, the olympics is held every 4 years and the next olympics will be held in London, England (2012).

Eh, the Olympics are overrated.

To Garage: Yeah it is boring I've seen the 10m platform although it does look like it but it's not on the one with 10 meters board. It's quite annoying to see the same tricks again that they did before again and again and again. I was like "CAN YOU iDIOTS DO SOMETHING NEW?!?!" xD

I like how some countries have their own areas of sport where they show obvious superiority that makes them unique from the others. Cubans and boxing for example.

If only gridiron was an olympic sport =P I'd love to represent my country in that.

Well... holland doesn't got that much of a sport superiority... the only thing is that we where good at trading stuff with other people around the world in the golden ages...
and that we got a can learn foreign languages more easily...

China probably let all their athletes off drugs tests & bribed all the judges to make them win everything, to make their people happy... It's not concrete fact, it's just my opinion <_<

When the Olympics come to London in 4 years time, I will want to see it in The Olympic Stadium live, as I can get there by train ^__^

I love the Olympics and all the events; I think it's very fun to watch. China isn't going to win, the US is! :P Hehe, I enjoy the worldwide competition.

Some people trained with Mario and Sonic at the Olympic games. I found that awkward :blink:

and it was Michael Phelps who trained for this with the Mario Sonic game for the swimming.He has broken alot of world records. :blink: 11 gold medals. :blink: wow...

It's been a good few days for Great Britain, winning medals in cycling and sailing. We're now 3rd overall O_O

Actually, the final day of Gymnastics is a Champions Exposition show, no medals involved though, just a show with the medal winners in Gymnastics.

It was still going when I posted that, not a review, the games were still being played and medals were still being won.

Check the dates as to when the games started and finished and you can bet your bottom dollar the date of my post is in between those dates.

Volleyball and Basketball's bout the only thing I get into when I happen to turn to the Olympics. Them girls are awesome. The dream team's awesome. Though I was more interested back in the day than now. I'm not really feeling sports on tv anymore.

I wasn't really on sports but the Ceremony was awesome. =3
