Title: What Gigs Have You Been Too?
CreamCrazy - August 25, 2008 03:23 AM (GMT)
I was just wondering which bands the members of TTFF have seen live?
So far I've seen:
Lostprophets
Billy Talent
Smashing Pumpkins
Hayseed Dixie
Dave McPherson (Lead Singer of InMe)
And I will be seeing R.E.M. in 5 days, InMe on September 5th, Alter Bridge on November 8th & Protest The Hero & a bunch of other bands on November 15th.

Sadly I have'nt seen anyone... but hopefully if I overcome my anxiety I'll go to a Dream Theater or Weird Al concert. Whoever I like. =)
Groshonee - August 25, 2008 04:06 AM (GMT)
None, i'd hate to be around that many people with absurdly loud music playing ._.
Maz - August 25, 2008 11:04 AM (GMT)
I've never been to a gig -_-
I was trying to get tickets to the Oasis tour in September, but they're charging over £100 a ticket. I'm not paying that kind of money ¬_¬
I might try and see Stereophonics in December, seen as that's only £25 a ticket. If I'm in a position to do so, I want to go to Oasis' 2009 tour. I must watch them live before I die!

Lynyrd Skynyrd and Linkin Park. Thats it so far xD; I haven't been to that many concerts, yet.
I don't know when they're gonna be here, but I'm gonna be seeing the Red Hot Chili Peppers too.
Missy - August 28, 2008 07:15 PM (GMT)
Here's the bands I've seen xD
Duran Duran
Trapt
Sixx AM
Papa Roach
Buckcherry
Motley Crue
Lucifer Sam - August 28, 2008 11:10 PM (GMT)
Metallica, with opening act Godsmack, 2005 (?). Godsmack was actually better that night.
Tool, with opening act Melt Banana, 2007. Melt Banana was pretty dull, but Tool rocked the faces off of children yet unborn.
Rush, twice, first in 2007, then in 2008. Rocked the first time, but they were even better the second show.
Pat Metheny Trio, either in late 2007 or early 2008, I don't recall. Was a great show, but I'd have preferred to see Metheny's larger Group with a wider range of instrumentation.
The Capital City Big Band (from Columbia, South Carolina), in 2008. They played jazz standards as well as more modern compositions. Pretty good, considering half the members were old enough to have dropped dead on stage and are just people who get together on the side to play music for good old fun.

I saw R.E.M. last night, THEY WERE ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! Best gig I've been too so far, there was so much atmosphere & they play all my favourite songs (minus a few) really well. It was also funny when Michael Stipe messed up the start of Perfect Circle, we laughed a bit xD
If you ever get the chance to see R.E.M., I advise do so, it'll be worth every penny spent
H.Ashes - August 31, 2008 01:08 PM (GMT)
My big one is Rush. I saw them around 2 months ago.
I've also seen:
Chiodos
The Human Abstract
Between the Buried and Me
He is Legend
KittieKhaos - September 17, 2008 12:13 AM (GMT)
I hope I'm not bumping this topic too bad!!
I've seen:
The Casualties in PA back in June of 07
Stone Sour with Dirty Little Rabbits (only saw Stone Sour because it has members of Slipknot..) in August of 07
The Casualties AGAIN in December of 07
A lot of local shows with people no one would know including SadPlant and stuff
Mindless Self Indulgence, The Birthday Massacre and Julien-K in July of 08
and soon I will be seeing Gwar and the Misfits in October of this year!

Okay, I'm not seeing the Misfits after all. (awww) I'm instead seeing the Casualties....for the 3rd time!
sonic-GT - September 18, 2008 04:36 AM (GMT)
I'd LOVE to see Buckethead, "Weird Al", or Dream Theater. Only problem is I want to be in an outdoors concert. I don't like being in a building in the dark. I hope to someday go the legendary Ozzfest.
The only semi-concerts I've been to are Danny Stirling's: Vision of Elvis
He's an Elvis Presley impersonator. I like him, he's good.
KittieKhaos - September 19, 2008 01:16 AM (GMT)
Most concerts I've been to aren't that dark. There's generally stage lighting and other lights to help you see. It's certainly not completely dark. Buckethead would be interesting to see though.

I saw an amazing band called GWAR this past Thursday. Their music is terrible but people go for their theatrics. They dress up in huge elaborate costumes and massacre things on stage so the audience gets covered in fake blood. They were so amazing to see. I need to go again!!!
