Title: A Kutsuni's Destiny
Description: Midnight's Story!
zeero - August 26, 2008 01:36 AM (GMT)
My first real story...but you only get the prologue right now!
~-.:A Kutsuni's Destiny:.-~
~:_`Prologue`_:~
Midnight was born in Westopolis, in a hospital, just as any other child. He was a normal child....until he hit the age of three. On the exact second of his birth, 3 years later, Midnight was no longer a normal child. He was sucked into a vortex, sending him to another world called Farkon. He didn't know why, but it just happened, and it couldn't be stopped. Little did Midnight know, it was destiny that brought him there. And boy, did destiny have something in store for Midnight.
The little black jackal, helpless and alone, was found by a hedgehog named Akura. This hedgehog then became Midnight's sensei. Akura trained the boy for seven years. When Midnight would ask why, why was Akura training him, Akura would only answer "Destiny." That word, destiny. It was always in Midnight's mind...he would often ask himself questions. "Why am I here? Destiny, what the crap's up with that? Why do I gotta learn how to fight? What the crap's up with this sensei dude, anyway? Where's my mommy and daddy? Dang, this all is like DA CRAP!" Those are just a few thoughts that would rush through Midnight's mind.
In Farkon, Midnight learned something and earned something. He earned this: A new name. Jakkult. It means "Kutsuni Warrior" in Farkonian, the native language of Farkon. He learned something, too. He had abilities...somehow, he didn't know how yet, but he could generate some strange power from his body.
When Midnight hit ten years old, he left Farkon. He traveled through another vortex, sending him to the remains of his destroyed home he lived in before. No one was there. Midnight was alone. He lived on the streets in Station Square for two months.
Soon, he began having a strange feeling. A feeling that he should go over to this house. A feeling like he was wanted there. He walked up to the house, knocked on the door, and was greeted with a great big glomp from the red female jackal who answered the door, his sister Ruby. So, as destiny had it, three siblings, Flame, Midnight, and Silia were reunited.
So, he lived there in peace....or not. In two years, Midnight's life turned around. He got friends. He got rivals. He got enemies. Enemies, you ask? Yes. Why are they attacking Midnight? That's for me to know and you to find out.

I got a bit ahead of myself in that prologue...since this story starts with Midnight when he first got back into his own word. So here we go...
btw its short DX

__________________________Chapter 1___________________________________
The small jackal was startled a bit when he was sucked into the wormhole, but when he got shot out of it, he slammed his face straight into the wall of a building. "Ow....wormholes hate me..." He groaned. Then he got up and turned around. He saw his home...or the destroyed remains. "...i-is that my home?" Jakkult questioned himself. "Well, now it's destroyed...guess I'm on my own. My training prepared me for this, though."
So, he wandered through the streets of Westopolis for a while. "Wow...I think it's time I get out of this city and go somewhere else." Jakkult was decided to leave Westopolis due to some strange feeling he should, not knowing what it was. So he followed that feeling to a place called Station Square. He used his training, and he built a nice home on the outskirts of the city. There he lived for a while. He had something okay going for him, he had a nice hut, a fire every night, and he did something to entertain himself during the day, he went out to the woods and punched trees, training his strength.
But after living in that hut for two months, Jakkult got another feeling...he should go into the city and knock on the door of a certain house. He had no idea what it was, but his trainer, Akura, told him to trust his feelings. 'They have gotten me this far, so why not trust them?' he thought to himself. So he walked up and knocked on the door. A red jackal with long wavy hair, sky blue sparkly eyes, a waving tail, a purple V-neck and a pair of jeans, along with a pair of red sneakers. Immediately, she hugged Jakkult tightly. "What the....quit squeezing me! Who are you?!" Jakkult had no idea what a hug was, so this was unusual to him.
So she stopped hugging him, then explained. "I'm your big sister, Ruby."

Heyas, new chapter! It takes places directly after the last one!
---->A Kutsuni's Destiny<----
_____CHAPTER 2_____
"...my big sister...?" Midnight was very confused.
"Come inside, Midnight..." Ruby said.
"...Okay, then." So he went inside like she told him to.
"Hey Flame, you're gonna wanna see this!" Ruby yelled, as another red jackal began walking down the stairs. He had a black muzzle, sky blue eyes, a black tail, white gloves, socks, white sneakers, jeans, and a white short-sleeve shirt over a black long-sleeve shirt.
"...little brother?" He gasped as he feinted.
"....you're kidding me, that idiot is my older brother?" Midnight chuckled.
"He may not be very smart...but yes." Ruby walked up to the unconcious jackal and kicked him, springing him to life. "We're twins..."
"...Nobody saw that." Flame said, embarrassed at how he feinted.
"Midnight....I have a question." Ruby said.
"Just one?" Flame said.
"What happened to you?!"
"How surprising." Midnight grinned. "Well, a wormhole sucked me up, and I went to another world. Some weirdo called Akura decided that 'destiny' wanted him to train me, so he taught me how to fight, talk, and crap. Then I randomly got shot up back at this dump world. By the way, I also have a question..."
"All right, shoot."
"What is this all about?" Midnight formed a ball of KutEnergy in his hands. Flame feinted again. "Holy crap, what's wrong?"
"Nothing, he's just an idiot. And what that is about...well, there's a myth that there's some old jackal tribe that existed millions of years ago. They weren't ordinary, though. No...they were extraordinary. You see, each member had their own special ability. It was said they got their power from some super-powerful sphere...they died off, though.....or did they? I'd like to believe that we are the remaining family from that tribe...the proud Kutsunies!"
"...so, you're saying...your family....our family....has powers, and we get it from some huge ball?"
"Yup. It was also rumored that there would be this one ultra-hero dude, who would like save the universe whenever it needed saving...I dunno if that's true or what."
"So, you have abilities, too?"
"Aw, sure! As twins, me and Flame here have the same ability....we have telekinesis. We can move things with our mind."
"Oh, really?"
"Yep. Watch..." Ruby displayed her power, opening the fridge and making the milk carton come to her. "See? It's pretty sweet, I know. But, your power....I don't know what exactly that is....it appears you create energy from your body, and you can mold it into a lethal weapon..."
"Yep, it's sweet." Midnight bragged.
"But don't be reckless with your powers, like Flame over here..." Ruby said. Flame had gotten up, and now he had accidentally started a fire.
So, that is how the three siblings were united.
________________END CHAPTER____________________________
I know, it was still short...but this is how short all of my chapters will be, since I like them to focus on one main topic at a time. But this is just like a book with lots of chapters...just short. Y'know?

A Kutsuni's Destiny
Chapter 3
"Wait....I thought his power was telekinesis....how can he make fire?" Midnight looked a bit confused.
"Well, you see I make the atoms in the air rub against each other extremely quickly, creating friction, which then creates fire." Flame said with a smirk.
"Wow, that's the most intelligent thing you've ever said." Ruby joked.
After a couple minutes of sitting and doing nothing, Midnight said, "Wow, I'm bored. Hey, guess what? I have a nickname. It's 'Jakkult!' "
"...okay." Flame said.
"It means Kutsuni warrior.....Ruby, your nickname would be Silia." Midnight said.
"Why? What's that mean?" Ruby questioned.
"Smart." Midnight said.
"Wow, that's it? Smart!" Ruby said. "....but I do like the sound of it. 'Silia!' "
"Oooh, my turn!" Flame eagerly said.
"Okay...Jadeck." Midnight said.
"What's it mean?" Flame asked.
"I won't tell you." Midnight chuckled a bit, then he whispered to Silia, "It means idiot." They both chuckled. Flame crossed his arms.
"What's so funny?" Flame asked.
"Nothing, Jadeck." Silia said, then giggled.
"Stop it!" Flame whined.
"It's sticking. Your name is Jadeck." Jakkult said.
"Fine...." Flame finally accepted.
And that is how the siblings got their new names.

___-->Chapter 4<--___
It was a hot summer day, and Jakkult was bored.
"Dang....what a boring day!" Jakkult groaned.
"I agree...." Flame sighed. Then Jakkult began banging his head against the wall of the house. This continued for about ten minutes, until Jakkult put a hole in the wall.
"....YOU IDIOT!" Jadeck yelled at Jakkult.
"It was just a wall." Jakkult said. Jadeck glared at him. Then Jakkult went outside and began digging a hole, out of extreme boredom. "Wow, I'm extremely bored....digging a hole!" Jakkult exclaimed at himself, noticing he was suffering from the heat and extreme boredom. He continued for about two hours.
Then, someone walked up to Jakkult. He was a white hedgehog with orange tipped quills. “….what are you doing?” He asked as politely as he could.
“Umm, digging a hole.” Jakkult blankly replied.
“…Why?” The hedgehog asked.
“I’m bored.”
“….I see…”
“Yep. Got nothing to do…”
There was a moment of awkward silence.
“…….what’s your name?” The hedgehog finally asked.
“Midnight Kutsuni, but you can call me Jakkult if you want.”
“I’m Zakkari Zaltar, and you can call me Zak. Nice to meet you, Jakkult.”
“Same here, Zak.”
And that is how Jakkult became acquainted with Zak.
___-->END CHAPTER<--___
EDIT: And ANOTHER chapter?! No waiz!!! (It's crappy, though! :D)
__-->A Kutsuni's Destiny<--__
So, time passed and Jakkult’s life was pretty boring for a time. On the first day of school, this is what happened. He was told to report to his home room, so he did just that. And he did school stuff, and he learned stuff…and he met two new people; Kimi and Kilik, two siblings. Kimi was a pink female jackal with straight pink hair, a white muzzle, and her was white. Kilik was a green male cat with a white muzzle and his tail tip was white.
Now you might be thinking ‘A cat and a jackal….how the crap can they be siblings?’ Well, Kimi was adopted. Jakkult liked Kimi. They became good friends. Kilik and Jakkult became good friends, too, but their rivalry also grew, because Kilik was also a great fighter, and the two would spar.
What will happen in the future of Jakkult’s life? Find out in the next act, suspense growing, and action just right around the corner! But I’m going to leave you hanging’, ‘cause I’m awesome like that!

Here's a new chapter....but no one cares, huh? Thought so. Here it is anyways.
Oh and btw, its First Person View...Jakkult's POV.
A Kutsuni’s Destiny
Act II: Budding Heroes
One day in school, I was walking down the hall, minding his own business, and I accidentally bumped into a lion, causing him to drop his books. “Watch it, you fatty.” The lion insulted me.
“Did you just call me fat?” I asked angrily.
“Yeah, what’re you gonna do about it? Nothin’. ‘cause you’re a wimp!”
“Wrong answer.” I said, then I ran up to the lion and punched him in the face. Hard. So hard, he fell back against the hard marble floor, and his nose was broken. “Let’s try again. Did you just call me fat?”
“No,” The lion said, his voice muffled because he was cuffing his hands around his bleeding nose. “You’re going to jail! I‘m telling!!”
I chucked as the lion ran off. A couple seconds later he came back with the principle.
Crap. I was suspended for a week.
Later, in my house, Jadeck was acting like an idiot. “You got suspended! You got suspended! You got….” The chant continued.
“All I did was punch him…he’s just a fat whining crybaby.” I said. The chant continued. “Stop it, Jadeck!”
“No! You got suspended!” Jadeck yelled.
“Quit acting like a five-year-old.”
“…No!” Jadeck screamed. I face palmed.

Zeero - October 22, 2008 02:03 AM (GMT)
QUAD POST?! that ain't right. Oh well, here's a new, long chapter. Hope someone cares.
_A Kutsuni’s Destiny_
Act II: Budding Heroes
So, after my suspension, I got into even more trouble. One chilly fall day, October 24th to be exact, I was coming home from soccer practice, and I was a bit hungry. So I stopped at a gas station to get a snack. But I noticed something. The clerk wasn’t there. No one was there. The place looked like it just got robbed.
Crap. The place just got robbed.
I saw someone - a green hedgehog - running out through the back door with a bag of money. The thief. I heard police sirens, and before I knew it, cops were in the building pointing their guns at me. “I didn’t do it!” I yelled, they ignored and told me to put my hands behind my head. But I saw an escape opportunity, so I took it. I jumped out the window, the shattering glass etching my fur. Then I ran. I just ran, and ran, and kept running.
They thought I robbed that place.
I was going to run home, but the police might follow me there. So, I ran to a subway, where there were many people. I ran past the crowd, and to another exit. I lost them. Then, I went home.
“Long day? You look tired.” Silia said.
“Yeah…” I mumbled.
Later next day, as we were watching TV, the news came on.
“Ugh, news. Change it.” Jadeck grunted. Silia was about to change it when a picture of me popped up and the anchorman said “and a young jackal a thief? We’ll have more on this shocking story.”
“…Jakkult?” Silia questioned.
“Uh….I can explain.” I said.
“Oh, can you?”
“Yeah. I was hungry, then I walked into a gas station, and it was robbed, and then the cops thought I did it, because the real thief got away.”
“Well, that’s inconvenient on your part.” Jadeck joined the conversation.
“Yeah, and now I’m wanted by the cops….I’ve got to find that idiot who really robbed the store…” I growled and clenched my fists.
“How ya gonna go about doin’ that?” Jadeck asked.
“Dunno. But I gotta, or I’ll be wanted forever.” I said.
Next day when I went to school, kids were looking at me and whispering to each other. And right when I got home, I was realized I was being followed.
Crap.
I didn’t go home until I lost the person who was following me. This happened for quite some time, but one day when I was walking, and playing my DS at the same time, I bumped into someone. It was him! The green hedgehogthe thief!
“Hey…you okay, kid?” He asked.
“No, I’m not. Thanks to you! THIEF!” I yelled and punched him in the stomach. “Police!” I yelled for the Police.
Finally, the Police came, and I explained to them that this was the real thief. I had to take the case to court. And I made a pretty good lawyer. I proved my innocence and the hedgehog’s guiltiness by the money he stole and his gun. The money had the clerk’s fingerprints on it, proving it was in the cash register. And it also had his fingerprint on it. His gun also had fingerprints on it, and there was a bullet hole in the ceiling that matched the pistol, proving it was from that gun. He went to jail, and I got my life back. All was happy, for a time.

A Kutsuni’s Destiny
Act II: Budding Heroes
Yeah, like I said, all was well. Get up at 5:00 AM, morning workout ‘til 6. Breakfast is next. Get ready for school, then go to school, get home at about 3:30, do my afternoon workout ‘til 5, then do stuff…after that I would do my evening workout 6 to 6:30. Then dinner. Go to sleep at 8:30.
That was usually my daily schedule. Life was still good. Working out, getting stronger each day. Playing video games, sparring with Jadeck, and fighting crime. I got my picture in the newspaper a lot, just from stopping convenient store robberies and muggings. Sweet, huh? I was officially labeled a local hero. I was still lovin’ life.
Then it happened.
One time I was stopping a mugging…something happened. This girl - a white hedgehog - she made me feel…dead. She just looked in my eyes, and I was in a volcano. My skin was being scorched - all I felt was pain. Then I was on the ground in an alley. She had used an illusion on me. She was one to look out for.
I told Zak about it, and he froze. “Hello? Earth to Zak!” I yelled at him.
“Sorry…it’s just…the girl you were talking about is…” Zak hesitated.
“Is…?”
“My…my…sister.” Zak mumbled. My eyes widened.
“Huh?” I questioned in disbelief.
“Long story…oh well. I come from a hedgehog tribe…and we the people of this tribe are light seekers. We embrace the powers of the light and use it. We were all to become paladins, warriors of the light. Some were corrupted and decided to go bad…I’m afraid my sister, Serum, was one of the corrupted.” Zak said.
I merely said “oh.” I wanted to say something else, but I was still a bit in shock. “Anywho…I’m bored. What do you want to do?” I asked Zak, changing the subject.
“Um…go to Pizza Hut!” He grinned.
“All right, then. I’m in the mood for pizza.”
Next day, I was walking about and out of the blue, Serum jumped from a rooftop in front of me. “You’re going down, buster.” She growled.
“You wanna fight, girl? I can‘t hit a girl - they‘re too defenseless.” I taunted. That was a mistake. It only angered Serum. She lunged at me and attacked fast with a punch to the gut, but I countered with a kick to her stomach. She flew backwards, into a building. Then she got up and charged at me with a needle in her hand. It had some green substance in it. She stuck it into my vein, then I fell over and passed out.

Uh-oh! Jakkult's in trouble, now.
Zeero - November 6, 2008 02:40 AM (GMT)
Perhaps. But here is the next chapter.
A Kutsuni’s Destiny
Act II: Budding Heroes
When I woke up, Jadeck, Silia, and Zak were looking at me and they looked really concerned and nervous. I opened my eyes and said “What are you people staring at?” They all let out a sigh of relief.
“It worked.” Zak said.
“What worked?” I asked.
“The antidote.”
“…antidote for what?”
“The death serum.”
“Huh?” He told me the story. This is how it went down.
After Serum stabbed me with that needle, I passed out. It was full of death serum, which enters someone’s bloodstream and infects them. Within three days, the victim will die. But there is a cure. The pureweed. If the pureweed enters the bloodstream, it can kill the virus from the death serum and destroy it, then heal the person’s body.
After the first day, Silia got worried about me. She went out and looked for me, and then she found me lying on a bench. (Serum had placed my body there.) She tried to wake me up, but I was paralyzed. She scooped me up and brought me home, then called Zak for help. He came immediately and said “We need a pureweed ASAP.”
“Pureweed?” Jadeck asked.
“Midnight’s been injected with death serum. A virus has entered his body and is killing him slowly. If we don’t get a pureweed into his bloodstream in two days, he’s dead.” Zak flew away and came back in 3 hours with a weed. “This is it.” He mashed it up into a paste, then put it in a syringe and injected it into my vein. It got to work killing the death serum virus fast. I was back up the next day. That’s where I am now.
“Oh.” I blankly said after hearing the long story.
“Yeah…good thing you’re not dead. Thanks be to me.”
“Oh, right. Uh, thanks for saving my life, dude.” I said. He chuckled.

Striker Nexus - November 6, 2008 03:09 AM (GMT)
Phew. Close shave. Nice installment.
Zeero - November 17, 2008 02:31 AM (GMT)
New chapter. Sucks, but it gets better in next chapter. Trust me.
A Kutsuni’s Destiny
Act II: Budding Heroes
After the incident with Serum…came another incident. With Serum. I was doing pushups in my backyard, when out of nowhere Serum appeared and kicked me in the side. I got up and said: “Why? Why are you trying to kill me? What will you gain?!” I got no answer. Still a mystery to this day why I’m being hunted. But you probably want to hear more about the action.
I ran at her and threw a punch, which she blocked. I tried a kick, but she countered with a quick elbow to my gut. I jumped over her and kicked her in the back, sending her flying into a tree. She turned around and threw some needles at me. I dodged them, then charged her with a punch to the jaw. She spun, then I kicked her. She grabbed my foot and threw me into my house. I charged again, but she dissolved into water, then reappeared behind me and punched me in the back of the head.
By that time my brother had noticed the racket. He jumped out of his room window and tackled Serum right before she struck me again. He kicked her into a tree, then charged her with a barrage of kicks, ending with a roundhouse kick straight to her face. He jumped back, then I fired a KutBeam at her, propelling her straight through the tree and into a ditch. Jadeck and I ran and performed a combo - KutBeam and Burning Bomb. It was freakin’ awesome. The green glowing energy, the blazing fire, the dirt flying everywhere…yeah, it was cool.
As the smoke cleared, we noticed Serum was not there. “Frick!” I yelled. Then something hit Jadeck in the back of the head, knocking him out. I turned and saw Serum. I charged her and kicked her into a tree. I powered into Chaos form, wanting to end this quickly. I ran at her again, and used KutSlash to continuously cut Serum. I just wanted her to stop bugging me! So I tried to end it really quickly. I grabbed her and threw her at the ground, putting a hole in it. I threw KutSpheres, fired KutBeams, cut with KutSlash, and used melee attacks in a raging berserk. She vanished. “Well, that will take care of her for a little while. But I think she’s up to something.”
I walked over to Jadeck and woke him up. “She ran away.” I said.
“Chicken.” He said. We went inside and lazed about like normal…yep, what a wonderful life. Laze about then fight Serum. But it was going to get way harder than just Serum very soon…

A Kutsuni’s Destiny
Act II: Budding Heroes
A month had passed since the incident. It was December 26. Christmas had passed, and it was almost time for the New Year. Yippee! And trust me, it would be a holiday to remember…
December 26, 2006. I was at my house, playing Zelda, which I got for Christmas. I heard a loud thud. It sounded like it came from the West. So I went outside and headed West. Then I found it. Before me was a large crater and some…capsule. It looked sort of like an escape pod from Halo. It opened, and there was a figure inside. He stepped out, and I saw him.
A tall hedgehog. He had red fur. His top quill went back, and so did his next one. His third quill pointed up, and his other one was long and it went down to the bottom of his shoulders. He wore some sort of battle armor. His eyes were…scary. They were solid black with red pupils and no iris. You could tell he was evil just by his eyes.
He glared at me, rushed toward me, and gave a swift jab to my gut. I fell over from the unexpected attack. He ran off. I knew this guy was bad news.

A Kutsuni’s Destiny
Act II: Budding Heroes
I woke up. I was on the couch in my house. Silia sighed, relieved.
“You got yourself into trouble again!” She screamed.
“So? What’s wrong with investigating a noise?” I argued.
“You could’ve been killed if like…you fell in a hole or something!”
“You worry too much.” I tried to get up. “Ow!! My shoulder!” I remembered yesterday. “I think it’s broken…”
“Broken?!” Silia said, shocked.
“Yeah. I heard a thud, and I saw a capsule thing, and a guy walked out, and he punched me in the shoulder and it cracked.”
“A capsule thing?”
“Yeah.” I sat up. “It’s no big deal.
“Well, I have to go to work.” Silia walked outside and drove off. I walked up to Jadeck.
“How good is your telekinesis?”
“Pretty good, I guess.”
“I think my shoulder is fractured…can you fix it?”
“Telekinetically?” He asked. I nodded. “Let me try…” He squinted and held his hand out. I felt my shoulder moving. Pop! I swung my arm around.
“You fixed it!” I said.
“So I did.” Jadeck smirked.
“But I have something important to do…Halo 2 rematch!!”
“Fine. I’ll whoop you again.”
“Whatever!”
So we played Halo 2. And Jadeck was right, he whooped me again. But then I heard an explosion. “What was that?” I asked.
“Let’s check it out.” Jadeck said. We ran outside, and there he was. Causing havoc.
“Hey, it’s that guy who broke my arm! I got a score to settle with him…” I ran up to the purple hedgehog. “Who do you think you are!! Filthy hedgehog.”
“Akuma Asuka. And I’m not a hedgehog, I’m a kuren. I came from the planet Coreen on an extermination mission. I am to destroy all life on this planet ‘Earth.’ And I’m hunting for a specific someone as well…”
“That was a rhetorical question!!” I threw a punch at him. He grabbed my fist and tossed me aside. “Ack!”
Akuma chuckled. Then Jadeck ran up to Akuma and threw a kick, but Akuma grabbed his leg and tossed him into a tree. Akuma ran off. Jadeck and I walked back to our house. “That guy’s bad news…” I mumbled.
“True that.”
“You know what we need…training.”
“True that.”
“So, let’s spar.” I threw a punch at Jadeck. He didn’t expect it and his head bobbed back at the impact. We sparred.
