Title: Eggman's endless robots
Description: Where does he get all those?
Tailsisreal - October 13, 2008 01:14 AM (GMT)
OK, here's a good one. Where does Eggman keep getting all the supplies and raw materials to create his robot armies and flying fortresses and stuff?
I think he has a secret matter-regenerator machine somewhere that he can use to create limitless amounts of whatever metal or chemical he needs. Maybe it runs off of Mobius's planet egg's power? (Sorry, I love Sonic X!) ^_^
littlefox - October 13, 2008 02:03 AM (GMT)
May be he reuses the parts from the other robots to make new 1. I don't know were he'd get them in the 1st place though.
Missy - October 13, 2008 10:44 AM (GMT)
He probably does reuse the parts. But he does have an IQ of 300, so who knows what he does. He can make 20 in a few minutes without a problem if he could =P
Nika - October 13, 2008 03:38 PM (GMT)
I was reading sonic x comics I downloaded and there was one where he was complaining that no one would sell him parts because he didn't have any "pieces of paper to exchange for it" so apparently he has to acquire them(parts) from someone :P
Tailsisreal - October 13, 2008 04:14 PM (GMT)
True, there is one episode in which Eggman sends Decoe and Bocoe to get supplies for him. I think they even commented on how he liked to buy in bulk! (Like 20 gallons of axle grease, I think they mentioned?) :TailsShock:
Still, everyone in Station Square knows that he will just use the parts to build robots to destroy the city, so why would they let him purchase them even if he had the money?

probably on a "I don't care or want to know what you do with it just give me my money" basis :b
Tailsisreal - October 13, 2008 08:57 PM (GMT)
Yeah, you're probably right. It's just capitalism at its finest. LOL
Still, the store owners in Station Square may find it in their best interests not to give Eggman the parts he needs to destroy the city with his robots, seeing as how their store would probably get plastered, too! xD
Iceguy - October 14, 2008 05:36 PM (GMT)
Maybe Eggman uses raw materials (like iron ore) to create metal and the other stuff, so he can create robots? =P

Well, from MINES, and stuff. =P
Tailsisreal - October 15, 2008 01:53 AM (GMT)
So then, why doesn't Sonic and friends destroy his secret mines and factories and stuff so Eggman can't keep making more robots?!
Kotetsu - October 15, 2008 03:33 AM (GMT)
Probably because they don't know about these mines.
Nearly typed mimes there... xD

Maybe because they´re hidden too well?
And if Sonic and the others would destroy those mines, would it stop Eggman from exctracting the materials from another source(s)? =P
Tailsisreal - October 15, 2008 08:54 PM (GMT)
That's kinda what I was saying with my very first idea. I think Eggman doesn't have a bunch of hidden mines and factories because it would be impossible to guard and keep totally secret for too long. I think Eggman has created some kind of alchemy machine that can convert anything he puts in it into the raw materials he needs to make robots and stuff. It would be a lot easier for him than trying to have mines all over the place and keeping them perfectly hidden!
~*Peppermint Girl*~ - October 16, 2008 02:16 AM (GMT)
Eggman might have his robots built on an assembly line(which would explain why they fall apart like garbage) if not... he has far too much time on his hands, and needs to get out more.
SBaby - October 17, 2008 08:14 AM (GMT)
He gets them from Rita Repulsa. She also had an endless supply of monsters and robots. So it makes sense that she would dump the rejects off on poor ol' Eggy.
~*Peppermint Girl*~ - October 17, 2008 08:51 AM (GMT)
Wait... isn't Rita Replusa from Power Rangers? O.o
pokeplayer984 - October 22, 2008 01:55 PM (GMT)
You know, with the latest game they brought back roboticizing. Based on this and all of the robots he gets, I wouldn't be surprised if a number of them are citizens that were turned into robots.
Looking at that, I don't think I can even see him as a human.

At least he´s evil, like he was supposted to be. :tsmile02:

Eggman is a multi-billionaire. He has to be. There's no possible way that he could afford all of the equipment he has, and be able to pay for new ones continuously when Sonic breaks the darn things.

Either that or he's the BEST thief ever. :P

Of course! So that's where Rouge comes into the Sonic universe! She is actually a robot or just someone Eggman has under his mind control that steals jewelry and such to finance Eggman's evil empire! Quick! Get that bat! (runs off with a pitchfork over his head.)

Rouge wanted to get Eggman´s secret treasure what she believed to be jewels (Sonic Heroes), and that´d be ripping off Eggman, wouldn´t it? Also, when Team Dark found the vault in Casino park (Sonic Heroes), Rouge was quite dissapointed when she realized there aren´t jewels (so she can rip off Eggman once again). Therefore, I disagree with your theory. :tsmile01:

You know, Sonic Adventure 2: Battle showed that Eggman does have hacking skills. Maybe that has something to do with it all.

I already knew all that, but thanks for setting the record straight anyways! Yes, Rouge would rather steal from Eggman rather than steal for him, that we can all be assured of. I was just trying to make a funny.
But, yeah! Eggman does seem to know how to hack pretty well! What if he has some kind of satellite up there somewheres that he calls GoldenEgg that he uses to siphon exorbant amounts of money from other people in order to finance his operation? (James Bond reference! xD )

Boy, that would mean only one of two things. Either Sean Connery has an amazing makeup and costume department to pull off the Eggman look, or he's really let himself go! xD
Still, back on topic. Anyone else wonder why Eggman makes all these hundreds of robots instead of just designing one ultimate robot that is completely indestructible to take care of Sonic once and for all? He also did it once with the Egg-sterminator in Sonic X at the end of Season 1. If Chris hadn't of stolen those emeralds and dropped them into the sea where Sonic was currently drowning, Eggman would have easily won. Why doesn't Eggman just revive the Egg-sterminator and this time not have a prisoner loosely secured in his cockpit who can steal the emeralds?
TTheFox - November 2, 2008 02:55 PM (GMT)
I think maybe he probly has something that can make robots like some kinda machenes.
