I think Tails is best off on his own. But if I had to chose I'd chose tailsxcream. I think it makes the most since because there about the same age and they do look pretty cute together.

Since the first Sonic fanfiction I read was a Tails x Amy, the first Sonic webcomic I ever read was Tails x Amy, and the first sprite comic I ever read was Tails x Amy, I've pretty much grown to Tails x Amy. :P

I like Tails x Amy, because when I was younger (around 11) I used to Sonic RP with my cousins and we did a lot of Tails x Amy RPs. I begun liking Tails x Amy, and I think they would make a cute couple. X3

I only have 2 pairings for Tails, but I think the girls are just perfect for him. They are:
Tails & Cosmo
Tails & Marine (From Sonic Rush Adventure)
With Cosmo, since the third season of Sonic X, I have enjoyed it. To me, it was like a breath of fresh air from all of the pairings with Tails I didn't like. Don't get me wrong, I like the girls, all of them, I just don't think a number of them fit in having a relationship with Tails. When Cosmo came it was amazing. Hints galore that I just loved. The only thing I didn't like was what happened at the end of Episode 77. :TailsSad: Poor Cosmo!
As for Marine, she actually showed quite an interest in Tails right from the start and was fascinated at what he could do. The hints were just in her compliments and it was something I enjoyed. I would definitely welcome more hints when SEGA decides to bring her back. :)
So there ya go! Marine and Cosmo, the two girls I think are just perfect for Tails. :D

There are only two pairings for Tails that I will ever support: Tails/Cream and Tails/Cosmo. Everything else is just wrong! (Although, I've never played a game with Marine in it, so she might be an exception.)
Tails and Cream are great mostly because they are both around the same age, almost completely innocent, and extremely cute! However, Tails is smart beyond his years and probably wants a more mature girl than Cream, I'd think.
That's why my favorite is Tails/Cosmo. They just work so perfectly together! Too bad he had to murder her... :unsure: Seriously, though, Cosmo was probably the only Sonic character that I'll ever accept as perfect for Tails, which I also believe is why she was killed off in the end. Tails has always been the character with the most tragic life, so it comes as no surprise that something so horrible would happen to him concerning the one person he ever truly loved.

TailsXCream. I would say TailsXMarine, but never actually played SRA, and I would say TailsXCosmo due to it's canon-ness, but I don't think Tails is into dead people, and I kind of utterly hate cosmo.

The only Tails couple I support (and one of the only SOnic couples I support in general, really) is TailsxMarine.
Both are interested in building (different types of things, but building nonetheless) and even spend time building together and such. Tails always keeps an eye out for her throughout the game to make sure she doesn't get into any trouble, which shows that he cares about her at least a little. Plus they look cute together. xP

OK, Tails/Sally pretty much everyone agrees is just plain wrong and shouldn't need much explanation seeing as how it currently has no votes anyways. I mean, Sally is like Tails' mother! You don't marry your own mother, adopted or otherwise!
Tails/Rouge is also simple to dismiss because those two are completely incompatible. Rouge is tough, vain, snarky, abrasive, and definitely would play 'hard to get' to any potential suitor. Tails is more reserved, introverted, gentle, carefree, and would probably have a hard time asking out any girl, especially someone who is so out of his league as Rouge!
Finally, Tails/Amy. Single most important reason that I see this as wrong, Amy is already taken, people! Sonic and Amy are a perfect couple whether it's them married or just her chasing Sonic with her Piko Piko Hammer. Those two belong together, end of story. That being said, Amy is also not quite Tails' type either. She's hot-headed, very outspoken, even oppressive at times, which all stand in direct contrast to Tails' own personality. Plus, she has no interests along the same lines as Tails does and would probably much rather take a walk outside or go shopping than stay in a laboratory all day.
So, since these three are out as potential candidates in my book, all that leaves is Cosmo, Cream, and Marine. (But, like I said, I don't have a clue who Marine is anyways.) Of course, this is only if you omit any yaoi matchups. (Which I totally hate! :angry: )

Usually I prefer fancharacters for Tails' girlfriend, but I'd have to say my favorite canon love interest for him is Cream, because I hate Cosmo, and the other girls are technically too old for him!

The couples I like are: TailsXFiona, TailsXCosmo, and TailsXMarine. ^^
I like TailsXFiona the mostly because She was actually Tails first love interest. They are also both foxes. (I know that doesn't count, but I think it's cute in a way! X3)
