Whats up?

We're about to hit a milestone here on TTFF. At the time of this post, we're at exactly 999 members.. one more makes 1000! This isn't including the inactive accounts that got sweeped a while back.

Also, reguarding the "LOOK" guy. Thats my IRL friend, I tipped him off to the place and he appearntly didn't like sonic or something. I told em' to post something stupid to see what people would say. But, uh. Didn't think it would go THAT far, my god. :TailsHeadSpin:

Anyway, cleaned up that mess. Twas' good for a 5 second lol. I seriously laughed so hard my chest started hurting and I had to take an advil.

*ahem*.. Anyway.

Would anyone besides me like to see some new things added here? I push this really often, but as much as i'd hate to see it, i'm starting to become a little bored with this place, just a bit. I think its time for a least a small update. What do ya say? I mean, we've been around a long time now, and the place really hasn't seen much of anything new.

I agree. This place is sort of flat. =/ I don't know, but maybe somehow we can stream a radio station on the site or some kind of entertainment in MP3 or MP4 format.

I think the MP3 thing is a good idea. Since there's a contest forum may be the admin can hold contests for every one to participate in.

Zetaboards have a really good one in coding which takes basically no time to load at all, but that's for zetaboards - which we -should- upgrade to as soon as possible!

If you guys want Zeta, you'd have to take that up with Trix. Though, when I tried to get through to her on that subject, I didn't have any sucsess. Last I talked to her about it, she said she's got more experience with Invisionfree and wouldn't be comfortable with the move.

Trixie deleted 600+ members a few months ago, so we'd actually be close to 2000 if she didn't get rid of them =P

and yes, I agree on improving this forum. It's not boring it just needs more spark x3

I agree with members that want the forum to be changed a bit. Like Missy said, it needs a little spark. The shoutbox should be up. I never saw it though. I disagree about the MP3 or MP4 thing. We can't get music the whole forum likes, can we?

Can we consider it an acheivement if we've done it about four times already?

Well, i'd suppose not. But, I don't think we'll be deleting anymore members. Last I recall, the member count has only been altered once before.

The previous shoutbox we had was basically spam free. It was moderatable too, and it automatically took the names of posters from the forum itself.

In other words, we've already had a spam-free shoutbox, and can easily get one again!

I agree w/ shoutbox, provided there is a way to monitor the posts and prevent flame wars, etc!

Kotetsu just said that it could be moderated.

I know that, I'm just saying thats all I care about is making sure it doesnt become a drama battlefield (it happens on some sites when mods or admin dont step in) But i trust this staff to keep up w/ it! :)

Oh, you mean like spectative staff. I understand that completely. I think the staff will step in as well...

May be we could get an IRC room or some thing like that... Are those moderatable?

Well, I liked the idea of bringing TTFF Newspaper back, but it doesn't seems like anyone would be willing to help out with it =<

An internet radio would be pretty cool though. but only if there was an option to turn it on and off... As for everyone not liking the same type of music, I agree there, not everybody listens to the same thing. We could make seperate stations for different genres, like rock, pop, electronic, variety, etc. I would be willing to DJ the rock radio and decide on playlists for it and stuff... DJ's wouldn't be needed, but they would help since some styles of music I'm not familiar with and wouldn't be able to judge them all. I'm smart with my music, but you can't expect me to know EVERYTHING about it since theres millions of songs and artists xD

Bringing back the shoutbox would be pretty cool as well. I think It's overdue anyway, since it wasn't really taken down for any controversial reasons and It's been awhile

I was thinking about the same thing a few days ago. It sounds pretty nice to me. There is only 1 thing that I would like to add: This is a Tails Fan forum now is it? What if you would stream some sonic songs into the thing... hmm? It's still called the Two Tailed Fox Forums now is it?
But then again it would be a bit double to also create a forum on which you can listen to the TTFF Radio (That's what I call it if you don't mind...)

The shout box: Was a good idea and there weren't any problems with it as far as I recall. I don't even know why it was taken down in the first place but that is something that needs to be left behind. The shout box would be a considerable thing that could be put back up, at least that's my idea if you would ask me.

I could do a newspaper.

Well of course there would be a station to stream Sonic music, since It's a sonic related forum. and I keep track of what people listen too here, and I know there are many people that listen to mostly Crush 40, His World, the works. I like the idea of having a seperate forum for the radio too, as well as being able to enable it to play automaticly when you enter the forum (which would be optional, of course)

And I think the shoutbox was taken down for work, but nobody got around to doing it

Yeah, it did originally get taken down for repairs, but there was so much wrong with it that it really didn't seem worth the time to fix when so many people were complaining about changes to the board. (Referencing the "Post your thoughts" topic, mostly. Also another topic I made in Tails' workshop where people said they thought the board was fine and etc etc.)

I had a bit of opposition to updating the place, so I just sorta backed off.

I so want in on that. Seen as there are several of us who would like to write it, perhaps we start an editing team? We can all give input into the articles and the workload wont be dumped on one person.

Yeah maybe it could be an offical group on here or some thing (and of couse the admins can be in it to if they want...)

hmmm I donno what to do the news paper is goood idea to do I'm a journalist at my school I do the school newspaper I can do it for TTFF long as I get the 411 of things.

I thought it could be a monthly thing, so the pressure doesn't get to people. If the team feels they can handle a weekly paper, then thats cool. I'm in support of Mazzys idea to have a editting team. Each of us could handle an article, but something the editor would like to write about. I don't think editors would like to be stuck writing a subject they don't like

If there was a newspaper, what sections would be in it?

I was thinking something along the lines of:

TTFF News
Video Game News(new games 'n stuff like that)
Real World News(economy, presedential election, etc.)
Sonic Related News

And maybe if there was a contest along the lines of a lottery, maybe you could post the results in it?

And if we do decide to do the newspaper thing, I would want to help out. :P
