A new rule has been added to the rules page. Details below:

13. Proxies
No member registered on TTFF shall be allowed to use any method of shielding their IP address from the staff in such a way that staff cannot identify the person in question. This includes using proxies to maintain anonymity. Accounts found to be using proxy browsers will be banned on sight. |
This rule is effective beginning October 26th, 2008. Any account found to be under a proxy after this date shall have their account blocked.
This rule has been established for numerous reasons, but if anything let Shadre be your instantiation. And again, I continue to stress that the only people capable of viewing your IP address are TTFF staff, and said people will not use your IP in any way that can bring you personal harm. The main purpose of this rule is to take a first step into the ellimination of ban-dodging, something we've been having quite a bit of trouble with recently. I hope everyone understands, these things have been much more harm than help to us, if any help to anyone other than a troll at all.
