I regret to inform all the Sonic X fans here that 4KidsTV will cease airing on FOX TV stations at the end of 2008. This was announced in 4Kids Entertainment's earnings report as they focus on their offerings on the CW network. Since the Sonic X reruns were on 4KidsTV, I am not expecting the reruns to continue on any station anytime soon in the USA after FOX drops 4KidsTV. If you have not already, you still have some time to get all the episodes of Sonic X on DVD at Amazon.com, which I have already done.

As much as I hate their dubbing and butchering of the last two episodes of Sonic X, I do give them credit for at least introducing Sonic to me. :/

BTW I've heard rumors about a "Re-Dub" of Sonic X, where all the cut scenes will be restored and a possible new cast, like they did with the yu-gi-oh uncut version.
Anybody else hear about that? O.o

I enjoyed him in Season 3 as well. I didn't really like him in any other season though, they made him to reliant on Sonic ;_;

I think 4Kids will still have the rights to Sonic X after their FOX Network block ends and will still be dubbing new shows. Remember, they also have shows on CW every Saturday Morning.

Hm, I really did like the Sonic X series, even though I despised the retarded "mecha and robot" Japanese Pop-culture Sci Fi style of Eggman's, I liked the acting and the basis, even though Tails in my opinion should of been voiced by a boy (You know why), it's really good to see the girl made some effort to make it sound more like a small boy.

Enough with my rant, I feel some sympathy for the series and I show disappointment as well, mixed, you could say.

Oh thank the lord, 4KidsTV is no longer screwing with Fox. I had just about reached my limit with that awful Anthem they did years back. Never forgave them. And now they're gone from Fox. No more anthems. No more IT'S TIME FOR 4KIDS TO BURN YOUR EARS with their awful VAs. Well, at least not on Fox.

That is what I keep hearing, that they dubb out all the good stuff. I heard that Sonic and Amy had a closer relationship in Japanese Sonic X, but was altered in the American version.

I've heard rumors that Tails had a bigger part in the 3rd season of SatAM. He gets much closer to Sonic as a brother, or something like that.

I really do hope they re-dub the show with everything intact. I recall a company, I think Fan-vision or Fantivision, or something, doing that to One Piece. The voice acting was 10x better, and everything was left in it.

Funimation, those are the people re-dubbing One Piece. Thank God for them, by the way, that whole 4Kids think was a disaster. Remember Sanji's voice?

Funimation is most lilkley the best american dubbing company. I read on Wikipedia that Sonic X was originaly intended to be a Funimation license, But apparently 4Kids got to it first. Funimation don't cut any scenes out or anything, They just do the dubbing. The only problem is that they don't use offensive language like the Japanese original. Hmm....I wonder if I could get an actor from Funimation to do some Shadow lines...

I think they should make a subbed 4kids... That'd be pwn. but at last! 4Kids is bleeding out, now to finish it!!!

If they do re-dub it I hope they keep the scenes intact, I want to see that emotional scene with Tails ,but intact! (Next to last episode ever.)
The most touching part was when Tails was angry at loosing her, saying "You promised we'd always be together!" or something close to that, and he slammed his fist on the control pad. But they dubbed it.

In the dub he wasn't nearly as sad, almost like he accepted it the second it happened! If they dub it I hope they keep scenes like that actually IN the show. :)

I actually Like Sonic X, I just hate it when they cut scenes. T_T

BTW is Funimation that dubbing company that do fantastic dubs? I heard quite a few shows were done well with fantastic voice-acting there I believe.
