Is it just me or do Amy and Sakura from naruto look frightfuly similar? o.0

Remember Sonic and Naruto are both from Japanese craftsmanship. They look so much like each other because they are both the Japanese way drawn.

Grosh meant that Sasuke and Amy have similiar personalities, and that Cosmo and Gardevoir look alike (meaning the outside). Might be true, I´m not really interested in Naruto (it has very good music, though) and I don´t know anything about Pokémons.

Amy doesn't really look that much like Sakura to me. Only the pink, but that's it.

But I do agree with you about Cosmo and Gardevior. Cosmo looks like Gardevoir's daughter or something.

That's not the only Sonic-Pokemon similarity: Blaze and Espeon are similar in the way that they are both purple cats with a red gem on their forehead, while Tails and Buizel are alike because they're both orange and have two tails.
It's possible that Sonic and Pokemon could have looked at each other for ideas, there are some big similarites and they're both big franchises, it's nearly impossible that they don't know about each other. Then again...both series base their characters/creatures off of animals, and there's only so much you can do when basing something off of the same thing.

As for Amy and Sakura, I agree, they are alike! Both are pink haired, both have red clothing, and both are freakishly obsessed with a certain boy.
I wouldn't say that one was based off of another though, at least not their appearance. The color pink is the main color that represents the female gender, so quite often the main girl character from a series is pink. Right off the top of my head...Babs Bunny from Tiny Toons is a good example.

In the end, I hafta' say that just because they look/act alike doesn't mean that they're based off of one another. I mean, Samus Aran (Metroid) and Winry Rockbell (FullMetal Alchemist) have the exact same hair and and face pretty much, but I seriously doubt the creators even know about one another. x3

I don't agree Sakura never started to forget about Sasuke, she just kept a better composure than Naruto.

But yeah, Amy's obsession with Sonic is unhealthy O.o and it kinda creeps me out.

I have wondered the same exact thing. I saw chibi pictures of Sakura with Naruto and the other guy, and I seriously thought they were just human versions of Sonic Tails and Amy. XDDDDDD
