New comic I'm working on. It involves three aliens, very odd ones at that.

There's Curt. The normal one. Curt is never talking like it's Oppisite Day.
There's Oppi. The girl who started the whole thing with Stew.
There's Stew. He started out normal and Curt's best friend. He befriended Oppi, and started talking like her so they could make sense.

A bit more about the characters.




My first comic of them and a little pic of them together as if in M&L. =P Curt was made from scratch, and I used curt to make Oppi and Stew. (for the comic and picture)

I don't get the joke, but reading oppi say things backwards was hilarious for me. XDDDD

And wait till I get up the first page. @.@ Don't even bother trying to read what Stew is saying. XD Just, don't. And the joke is, me and my brother we're talking one night, and we started talking like Oppi, or well, he was and I was talking like Curt. xD Curt orginated from a drawing I made last year due to bordeum. xD And Stew and Oppi came from random boredness. XD But I hope you'll like the comic, CLF. =)

And just don't read what Stew is saying in this one at the begining. Just, don't.

And the new one!The second comic to Opisits! This is what my brother did to me when we watched the Muppet Show one night. He looked into my ear and said,"I'm stalking your thoughts." XD I laughed so hard and pushed him away.

I don't get it.

Is this meant to be a humorous comic or a serious comic?

Hehehe, it's got great potential, especialy cause your using real life refrences for your comic insperation. ^_^ Critique though: When one character speaks before another character, regardless of where he/she is on the page, that character usualy has the speech bubble above all speech bubbles that speak after that particular speech bubble. You basicly just have to get the readers eyes to travel around the space as you want them to, force them to read the speech bubbles in the order you intended. I have trouble at times finding the correct order of speech these bubbles come in, and that would help.

Well, critique over. XD Hehe, funny comics. It would be great to see more of these, and maybe somore complicated backwards talk by Oppi. ^^

It's not that it's just confusing, it's that I don't get why this is humorous at all. Sure, the "I'm stalking your thoughts" is an original joke, but it's just their speech is so unusual that it completely drowns the humour in confusion. Another problem is that with the limited sprites they have, it's impossible to tell if they're moving or not.

But on the flip side, this comic indeed does show some potential, keep working on it, take everybody's crit, and you never know, you miiiight just end up with this comic being quite popular indeed!
