Okay, allow me to explain this really fast. This is where the story of the Chaos Killers will be posted. The character bios and pictures are in the Fan Character section entitled "The Chaos Killers". I will attempt to put the pictures and bios in the order in which they appear, but sometimes that doesn't always work...lol.

Chapter One:

On a crowded street in the bustling city of Tiras, a pink fox named Daz casually weaved her way through the throngs of people. She never once looked up from her phone as the mass of citizens passed by her, paying no attention in the same way that Daz paid no attention to them. She had been sending text messages to her best friend Deph all morning.

Suddenly, the flow of bodies stopped. Daz, in the middle of sending a text, ran into the back of a pale red hedgehog in front of her. He shot her a scornful glance before storming away past her. She shrugged him off thoughtlessly and pressed her way through the crowd. Very rarely did anything pull her away from her brand new phone, but this event was too strange for her to ignore.

Daz had squeezed her way past at least seven or eight aggravated people before her black flip phone vibrated in her clenched hand. She eagerly opened the phone to read the latest text message from Deph.

“‘I’m at West 33rd Street. Where are you?’” Daz read under her breath. She looked ahead several feet before her, above the crowd of people, as her gaze landed on a street sign that read West 33rd Street.

Same as you, she typed. Wave so I can see you. She scanned the crowd for a few moments before a flurry of movement caught her attention. It was Deph, waving his hefty arms in the air. She pushed her way through the throngs of people to meet up with Deph. He towered over the rest of the people; he stood nearly six feet tall.

“Deph!” Daz called excitedly. He turned to find Daz standing right behind him and smiling warmly. “What is going on here?”

“Vahn is making another ‘revolutionary’ speech apparently,” Deph explained. For being such a tall, intimidating, and muscular bear. Deph had a sweetly gentle, deep voice.

“That spineless creep,” Daz snapped. “Why is he giving one right here, out of all the places in Tiras?? I happen to be in a hurry today and don’t have time for this!”

“Come on, you know you want to listen, Daz,” Deph teased, grinning.

“Not on your life!” Daz declared defiantly. “Let’s go Deph; we’ll just make our way through.”

“It isn’t going to happen,” Deph decided. “Trust me on this one. I can see that the swarm goes on for awhile.” He watched as Daz folded her arms and sighed; tail waving irritably. “It may not have been the way I really wanted to spend my Sunday, but we might as well listen since we’re stuck here.”

Daz looked up at him, and then to the pavement at her feet. “Can I ride on your shoulders then?” she asked, restraining a smile. He couldn’t know that she was giving in; she’s the one who makes others admit defeat.

“Sure! No problem!” Deph said, and he heaved her tiny frame onto his mighty shoulders. “I’m a little tired from working out at the gym down the street, so hopefully he doesn’t talk long.” Daz had guessed he had been at the gym since his naked torso was slightly sweaty, but she didn’t mind all that much.

Several hundred feet away, a stage was set up in the middle of the intersection. A meek-looking walrus was walking onto the stage as the audience erupted in applause and cheering. He waved graciously to the assembly as he strode across the stage to his podium.

“Hello everyone, and thank you for coming,” he said, leaning into his microphone hesitantly. The audience burst into crazed applause again. Daz did not clap, but laughed instead. “I stand before you today in this intersection for one purpose. That purpose is to find common ground; I want to hear the ideas of the citizens of Tiras. In doing this, I wish to find a place where our ideas and beliefs can meet together; a place where they can...intersect,” he said with a sly grin.

“I can’t believe he just said something that incredibly stupid,” Daz said.

“So go ahead; ask me anything!” he smiled. A lemur in the front of the crowd was called upon by Vahn.

“What would you, as president of Planet Owl and consequently the city of Tiras, propose to do about education that your opponent would not?”

“Excellent question,” Vahn replied enthusiastically, “because that really is our most important issue today. But my opponent, Jean, doesn’t seem to think so. Her plan would hire thousands of new teachers, and that’s fine. But unfortunately, we don’t have that many quality teachers. Therefore, I propose that we improve the training of the teachers we have!” The audience went crazy for his speech.

Daz looked on in disgust as they cheered and clapped for the walrus. “I could just puke watching all these people fall for his charade.” she whispered disgustedly in Deph’s ear. “Let’s get out of here. I didn’t need to get groceries that badly anyways.”

“You’re right,” he replied. “We can eat at my house.” Deph lowered Daz lightly off of his shoulders and set her gently on the ground.

“You there!” Vahn called across the speakers. “The tall yellowish guy on West 33rd Street. Where are you going?”

Instantly, a swarm of reporters surrounded Deph and Daz. They shoved multiple microphones in his face forcefully, awaiting his response impatiently. Daz barged in front of him to address the reporters instead.

“We are leaving because I am sick of hearing you talk!” she exclaimed crossly.

“Is it my voice?” he joked. “I’ve had a terrible sore throat lately, so I could understand if you find my voice a bit...grating.”

“It’s not your voice; it’s your words!” Daz declared fearlessly, grabbing the microphone from the reporter’s grasp. “It’s your lies and your slander! Jean is a great lady, and you’ve made her out to be a witch!”

“I have not. I respect Jean, but her policies are wrong. Whatever has been done to tarnish her image is her doing; not mine.” the candidate retorted angrily.

“You are a liar and a coward, Vahn!” Daz shouted before the microphone was snatched from her hands. The reporter knocked Daz to the ground as he brushed by her to rush back to Vahn. Deph grabbed Daz’s hand and helped lift her onto her feet.

“You did the right thing,” Deph assured Daz.

“I know I did,” Daz replied, “and hopefully everyone else will figure that out soon too.” They walked through the crowd, cheering at their defeat, and away from the Politian behind them.
